It really does look better than the pictures, and I know that's something we say about most of the watches we buy as collectors, but in this case it's a marked difference. It isn't too big on my smaller-than-average wrist. The indices are clear and sharp. The hands hit the marks. It keeps pretty much perfect time. It looks so elegant and classic. With the choice of bracelet and strap included in the box, it's difficult to choose which suits the watch better. I think this is a go-anywhere watch. Equally at home in a top London restaurant as it would be on holiday somewhere casual. I'm low-key obsessed with this and it has seldom left my wrist since I got it. I am wearing it with the leather strap at the moment but of course that will probably change. If you're on the fence about this one, don't hesitate. I just love it.

My first Sea-Gull, looks so elegant. Incredible value, with a (slightly dodgy) leather strap and a much better chain-link, keeps decent time for an automatic at this price, maybe gaining a minute a week.

This has been on my wishlist for while and so pleased I finally pulled the trigger. Beautiful clean watch. Fantastic finish throughout and a a nod to the Bauhaus movement. I have switched the strap out for royal blue and for this totally transformed the overall appearance. If you’re a fan of the clean simplicity of the Bauhaus designs then this sea-gull is well worth a punt. This is currently the 4th Sea-gull in my collection and I am currently awaiting the arrival of the naturals series dunes edition. On looks alone with a decent strap this punches well above its price point. Definitely 5 stars from me.

This watch is exceptional value looks and feels much more expensive. The strap needs bending carefully to break it in for immediate comfort. Overall love it .sea-gull quality seems up to Japanese I have no experience of Swiss so can’t say about that.

Worked ok but I didnt really like the appearance, the gold case was rose which I didn't like instead of yellow in the advert AND compaired to an Orient Bambino I have ,it looked cheaper, which it is.....you get what you pay for....but its funtional if thats what you want.

Very smart looking watch I am amazed how accrued the watch is, I have not had to adjust it in the last two weeks I have been wearing it.

After wearing for over a year I have been impressed with the consistently accurate rate, within 1 minute per week. Worthy of a COSC certificate? An interesting and amusing feature is the small "China Made" text at the bottom of the dial, which mimics the "Swiss Made" text on so many Swiss watches. The supplied straps are fine but the watch was perfectly matched by a replacement matching gold coloured Bisonstrap band which boosted the "bling" appearance considerably.

I am very satisfied with the watch’s appearance and quality. It looks refined, elegant and classic, with excellent finishing. It makes a very strong impression on the wrist.

I usually don’t write much reviews but this watch is gorgeous. The finishing is very detailed. I got it to test if I would like to wear a rose gold dress watch before committing to a IWC, JLC or VC. So far I can’t put this watch down so that answered my question pretty quick. Enjoy.

It has a minimalistic yet premium feel that I loved the moment I took it out of the box. ​I have quite large hands, so the watch appears a bit small on my wrist, but it doesn’t take away from its charm. It’s exactly what I was looking for as a casual everyday watch or for a relaxed night out. ​Since the case is copper, I noticed some minor natural oxidation marks on the metal. However, they were very easy to wipe clean, so it wasn't an issue for me. Overall, the watch is well-made, elegant, and I’m very happy with the quality of this Sea-Gull timepiece
