Has it got a back box or is it flush mounted ?

This item is flush mounted if you use a metal back box or dry lining box which is recessed into the wall. If you are fitting this onto a surface plastic box, the item will be surface mounted but quite thin.

Is this just the faceplate or does it have the wire terminals

It has two screw terminals, one for common (permanent live) .second for switch wire. Just on/off.

Hi sorry to sound dim but what is the difference between a master, slave and extension socket, I am trying to replace the only one coming into house?

Hi, The first socket the BT cable connects to is a master socket if you have any other sockets they will be slaves and connect into the top part of the master socket (bottom part of the master socket is where the BT cable connects to). Hope this helps.

Faulty telephone outlets - corrosion

Found that our broadband was leaking away through the sockets Inspected one MK unit and believed the design would stop this happening again. Replaced all wall sockets and it’s all working.
