Buttery smooth Lino cuts for my awful joints
Fantastic easy cut Lino. I have joint issues and had to stop carving after my last, about a month and a half ago. Despite that one being labeled “easy cut” I decided to try these out because I was convinced there was no way in hell that was considered easy. And I’ve never been more happy to be right! Finished a cut I have a bit of a rush on in 4-5 hours today, all lettering. It cut like a hot knife through butter and I’m thrilled! The one con to the softness of the Lino is little tiny dangling bits pull and stretch and move instead of cut. For this, the most effective way to remove the straggler I’ve found is to cut straight down with my smallest blade (could easily be accomplished with an x-acto knife, but I misplaced my blades). I’ve only used this with speedball fabric block ink, so unfortunately I can’t compare how it performs with a paper friendly ink. When I printed on paper (as tests before scrap fabric) it almost seemed like the pressure from the press (aka my heel) compressed it so much that it squished out a bit and smudged. But that could’ve also been because the ink was not made for paper. When I tried it on scrap fabric, I didn’t get any of the smudge or shadow effect I was getting on the paper. So just make sure you’re using the right ink for whatever material you’re printing on! I’m eager to get into the rest of these thick, soft blocks and not injure my joints in the process! They also are pretty dang big and considering I mostly do smaller prints and designs, they’ll last me a while. The value seems pretty unbeatable, especially for something you’d pick up from an overpriced craft chain. And if you have hypermobile joints like me, worry not about your wrist, elbow, and shoulder! I can’t speak to durability yet as I’ve only used one today, but they seem alright. I wouldn’t be shocked if they wore down faster than a firmer material, though. Probably okay for a small run of prints, but if you want the block to last for a long time, you may need some less easy-to-cut lino, as it does have more density and structure.

Perfect for beginners
Started Lino cut and these are a great material and size for beginners. They’re easy to use and it’s fun to see your projects come to life. Works well and is durable to the test of time. I’ve made several stamps with this!

Good value
For what you get it is worth it 100%, that being said the blade quality is not great at all. Mine where poorly made and had chips. They worked and given what I got for the money I would buy it again, but I'd recommend buying a separate set of blades for the handle.

These are SO fun to work with
I absolutely love these rubber carving blocks. I’ve never carved rubber stamps or used carving tools so I was a complete beginner and I used 1/2 of one of the blocks as a practice Matt and after that I kinda just went for it. These are thick enough to do a design on both sides as long as you don’t dig extremely deep, which I don’t think there’s a reason to really dig deeper like that for any design, but I was able to get so many different size stamps out of these and I still have two blocks left and I’ve given one away These are smooth and you’re able to control your tools very well. Knowing how much pressure to put in and the depth of where your mark will go is a bit of a learning her but so fun to figure out. I bought these along with the speedball multi carving tool. I’m going to buy some linoleum blocks next to feel the difference between those and these rubber ones. These are exactly like giant erasers maybe a little smoother

Good product for beginners
For beginners it’s very easy to carve on this, but please watch your fingers cause there are times you can dig a little too deep and slip and stab yourself in a finger with a very sharp blade so please be careful

Get what you pay for, could be worse
I’ve had this set for a few months and i wish i’d spent a little more on a better set. The handle is a molded pice of plastic with a metal tightening bit that you have to jam the blades into. Half of the blades were a little dull which makes them difficult to use when trying to make little details. I did appreciate that the kit comes with rubber blocks and a roller. All and all you get what you pay for. its not an awful set but if you plan to use it a lot I suggest getting something a bit better.

Good Product
I use these with a linoleum cutter to create stamps and prints, and the size is perfect for projects like bookmarks, stamps, etc. The rubber isn't too difficult to carefully cut into smaller pieces either, which is helpful. I had some trouble at first creating ink prints when I pressed them by hand, but after using a roller and a brayer, the quality greatly improved.
