Works effectively but rusts very quickly
It is quite effecting in compacting, however the product rusts from day 1. These pictures are 24 hours after installation. Very disappointing finishing protection for an outdoor device

Excellent product - highly recommend!
Has completely solved my overflowing bin issue, reducing smells and risk of rats etc. Sturdy item, does exactly what it says - highly recommend it if you don't have any room in your bins by bin day!

Very useful product
Amazing product, does exactly what it's supposed to do! I used to occasionally struggle fitting all my rubbish in my wheelie bins but now I can get so much more in whenever required.

Disappointing
To be honest for the sake of fitting one extra bag in the bin I feel it’s not worth the time and effort

Good concept but a few issues
I have wanted one of these for ages, but am disappointed with this one for the following reasons-1) others I have seen hook onto the wheelie bin and don’t need fixing to a wall - I don’t really want to wall mount this to the front of my house where the bins live…..which renders it unusable2) the welding is poor in places - not sure how long it would stand up to the elements3) the provided screws would stand proud of the base - they couldn’t be countersunk - again impacting on the aesthetic appeal4) the horizontal press arm looks like it needs more support as it could easily bend if too much pressure applied on one side.If you are ok wall mounting then I am sure it would be useful, but I think it would be so much better being a portable press like others I have seen.

The best
So easy to fit and it really does increase the capacity of our wheely bin. Our local council have decided to switch to 4 weekly bin emptying which is almost impossibly to do with one bin. This compactor is easy to use and requires only a moderate amount of effort to greatly increase the capacity of the bin. Great product and not too expensive. I would recommend this to everyone.
