I have issues with hooks that squeak, especially in warm conditions. Has anyone experienced any squeaking with these please? My tension isn’t tight!

I haven’t experienced squeaking while using these hooks, maybe it’s the heat especially if you crochet so fast. I’m just learning so I’m a bit slow.

Whats the difference bewtween these and the colour handles clover hooks?.

The coloured ones have an ergonomic grip. They are suited to be more comfortable in the hand (assuming your hand is the right size!) I find that the hooks on these ones actually glide better through the wool though, so I prefer these to the coloured handled hooks.

Are these genuine Clover brand crochet hooks? It says the brand is Maxam?

All I can tell you is that each of my hooks has Clover Japan marked on the handle. I am very happy with them.
