Drink Pod 200ml Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Flask, Satin

I travel by train quite a lot for work and have been looking for this kind of flask for some time - one that has all the qualities of a traditional flask but the convenience of an insulated mug. It's solid stainless steel - very cool looking - but fairly lightweight. Drinks stay hot for a good few hours and crucially it is watertight so can sit on it's side in my workbag without soaking anything. What I really like (and the critical deciding factor for me) is that once the top is unscrewed, you can sip coffee from it as you would with a cup. I wouldn't want to be pouring my coffee into a plastic cup whilst on a crowded commuter train and so the Drink Pod ticks all the boxes for me. It has a great look to it, stylish and compact - fitting easily into my hand - and is no bigger than a compact umbrella so will slot into those side pockets of travel bags that are designed for small water bottles. In terms of quantity, it holds 200ml, which doesn't sound a lot. In reality this is the amount you'd get in a large cup or small mug so it's not a massive reserve of a drink, but a bigger volume would need a bigger flask so it depends what you want. The convenience of a hot drink is worth the compromise and considering the £2+ you'd pay for a coffee at the station, this is a win-win for me. I love it and enthusiastically recommend it to you.

The Drink Pod is ultimately one of those near-perfect designs that you chance upon only a few times every year. It performs the simple task of keeping a mug-sized amount of beverage hot, can be used as a mug itself to drink straight from the flask, but also is pourable if you wish to drink from a mug or a cup. The stopper fits tightly and is leak proof, the flask keeps a 70C liquid hot for at least 8 hours without difficulty (yes like a nerd I've tested it with a thermometer) and with a removable plastic flange at the top of the flask it is very easy to clean. The metal is tough enough to withstand mild knocks while outside and the stainless steel is of sufficient quality to withstand tarnish and staining to a good level. All-in-all its a really good, effective little cup/flask for those heading outdoors and for me combines well with a small Jetboil stove to keep me in hot Tea and Coffee throughout a strenuous day out in the hills.

I bought this product to use for overnight hotel stays and found it perfect for the job. Didn't leak and stayed cold. Much better than the milk jiggers provided. What I did find though was the rubber - assume it is rubber - seal around the top is not just a ring it is folded so there is a little bit of channel that the milk can get into and will congeal so find I need to be meticulous about cleaning it and managed to get under the edge of it so that the ring opened and clean out the milk. The rest is easy to clean with dishwashing liquid - I don't have a dishwasher so don't know if it is suitable to use for the flask. I would still recommend this product.

I have to have alternative milk for health reasons. I use this to carry my almond milk (no sugar) so I can make a tea/coffee away from home (eg in a cafe… Large enough for 2 or 3 glugs of milk in my tea/coffee but not too large to put in my tote bag. Love it. Better than plastic bottle.

This fits exactly the amount I need for one feed of baby formula milk and keeps the water at the same temperature as I put it in! I used it at night - prepare the bottle with powder next to my bed along with this flask with 180ml of warm water and when bub wakes up at around 5am to drink milk is made in a second and I can give it quickly so that he can fall asleep again. When I had to get up to make his milk with the microwave it would take forever, I had to go out of the room, he would cry, then wake up and I won't get him to sleep for another hour. So this flask is a lifesaver for me! The first night I put boiling water in it in the evening as I thought it would cool by the morning, but I was surprised to find it, 8 hours later, just as boiling as I put it. So now I warm the water some 10 seconds more than usual before I put it in the flask. It is a very handy flask, easy to wash and open and use, so I have purchased a second one and also a bigger one for on the go! Love it.

Never leaked, but had to be returned as it was too small for what I needed it for. (Hot water for pot noodles) so had to send back and order a large one. But would recommend if using this for hot drink etc

I love these flasks! I bought three of the 200ml version so that my sons and I could all use them for packed lunches and picnics as an alternative to juice cartons with harmful straws. I have had them for about 4 months now and both my children use theirs in their lunchbox at school every day. They fit perfectly in a standard sized kids lunch box next to a Sistema sandwich box. The flasks have never leaked and my children love the fact that their juice or smoothie is still fridge cold when they drink it at lunch time. I have never used these for hot drinks so cannot comment on whether they keep things hot, but they do keep drinks cold for a good 4-5 hours (haven't tried any longer). The flasks are easy to clean as the plastic on the top of the body of the flask comes out, and the silicone seal on the lid comes out so that you can clean inside it. Definitely a good buy and I would recommend them.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and it has had a lot of use. Never leaked, stays hot etc. It is just the right size for me (200ml) so about a cup full of drink. Very easy to clean. My wife started using mine as most of hers (other brands) leaked at some point. Then she used it all the time so I bought two more. Fantastic item, really convenient to use.

Leaky and extremely poorly designed. There is no chance the silicon seal will prevent leakage after a short length of time.

Bonsoir je suis vraiment satisfaite de cette bouteille . La taille ( elle reste discrete dans mon sac à main )la couleur me conviennent, l'étanchéité ( je l'ai secoué dans tous les sens pour savoir à quoi m'attendre) Elle fait ce pour quoi je l'ai acheté, elle conserve le chaud très longtemps ( plus de 8 heures ; j'ai oublié mon infusion le soir vers 22heures le lendemain je croyais que je devrais jeter la boisson, en fait à 8heures elle était tiède chaude (Pour avoir sa boisson chaude, j'ai lu qu'il fallait mettre de l'eau chaude dans le contenant 15 minutes , la jeter et ensuite mettre notre boisson préférée...)

Devo dire che oltre bella da vedere fa bene il suo lavoro. Non perde, mi tiene caldo il caffè per 4/5 ore

I delayed writing this review as I wanted it to be fair and accurate. I'd been searching for a vacuum bottle of this small size for years to no avail. I was quite pleased to finally find one here on Amazon. I was a bit disappointed when I opened the package and found the silicone sealing o-ring deformed. My first thought was to put it back in the box and return it for a refund. However, there is no other alternative (that I know of) to this product. I decided to keep it and see whether it would leak or not. I used it twice a week and it did not leak! And after a couple of weeks, the deformation in the silicone o-ring relaxed, leaving the o-ring in its intended dimension, earning the five stars I gave it! I intend to purchase a second vacuum bottle to keep on hand in case I misplace or lose this one.

Lo uso da alcuni mesi. L'ho scelto perché non volevo roba tutta in plastica e lo cercavo dal design piuttosto elegante. Il Termos è corrispondente alle aspettative. Cercavo un piccolo termos da portare a lavoro, piccolo e leggero, che si potesse inserire nel piccolo taschino laterale del mio zainetto Kipling, e la misura è perfetta per questo uso. La bevanda rimane certamente ben calda per diverse ore, non ho fatto la prova per una giornata intera. Abbastanza facile da lavare (io sempre a mano, per non rovinare le parti in plastica).
