My favoured way to heat a vivarium, these retail at like £25.00++ so getting it for less than half of that is awesome, means you can get a backup for if one blows out, though they are usually very reliable, on a stat of course :)

Bought for a turtle tank. Works perfectly, giving the exact heat needed. Keeps the tank warm but not overly hot. However, does not regulate the temperature so during summer months and on hotter days, the heater needs to be turned off.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a close friend but as a donation to an animal charity on her behalf. The product is as described and helps to keep the animals warm over the winter. Cannot fault either product or delivery.

Exactly as described, used with a thermostat and ceramic holder and works a treat. Just be careful not to touch the CHE even for a split second with anything (especially fabrics) while it is on- the fibres will melt to the lamp and make the whole room stink like burning plastic.... would recommend getting a guard to prevent this from happening!

These is very good for my reptile definitely keeps him warm and keeps him calm.

This item was not working from the moment I tried it. (Unfortunately, I tried it only after the return period had expired.) When I turn it on it starts warming up for a few seconds and stops. It was very well packaged, different and better than all the other items (including lamps) it was delivered with, and seems to be the only item that is not working. So it is unlikely it broke on the way. Apparently Exo Terra did not bother checking it before dispatching.

I have purchased several of these over the past year and have yet to have one fail. They produce constant efficient heat and absolutely no light. Also they are about half the price of buying one in a pet supply store.

These are a must for herp keepers, especially those living in colder climates during the winter months. The ceramic heater I have has lasted for 10+ years with zero issues. It gets INTENSELY hot, so use gloves if you're going anywhere near this thing. A good distance from your herp would be around 1.5 to 2 feet, minimum, FYI. If the ambient temp is still too cold, use a blanket over part of the tank and keep an eye on the gauges.

La verdad tengo 4 bombillas cerámicas de estas y son super fiables. En 3 años no han dejado de funcionar. Es importantísimo usarlas con un termostato.
