Small Router, Massive Range
Blown Away by this Little Powerhouse! Incredible Range and Performance I originally bought this TP-Link router thinking it would be a simple, temporary solution—a cheap model I'd replace with something more expensive later on. I couldn't have been more wrong. I am absolutely blown away by how well this thing works. It’s a total powerhouse! The most impressive feature by far is the range and signal strength. I tested it by walking to the very end of my driveway, which is approximately 150 feet from the house, and the signal was still strong and perfectly stable. I’ve never achieved this level of outdoor coverage with any previous router. It works significantly better than the router supplied by our internet carrier, providing faster speeds and much more reliable connectivity throughout our entire home and property. If you're skeptical about getting great performance without spending a fortune, this TP-Link model will change your mind. It delivers outstanding value and exceptional coverage. Highly recommended!

Solid little router — simple, reliable, and perfect for practical setups
This is one of two Archer C54 units I purchased recently. I bought this particular one to reconnect my home/office network in Vietnam while I was there for the summer. I didn’t want to deal with the super-cheap, no-name routers commonly sold locally, so I went with something affordable but from a brand I actually trust. All I needed was a router that could connect to the internet, provide WiFi, and offer basic security — nothing fancy or high-performance, just something that works. The C54 handled the job perfectly. For under $70, it’s hard to beat. Setup was quick and easy, especially using the TP-Link Tether app. From unboxing to full operation took less than 30 minutes, including adding access points. More recently, I used my second C54 to solve a client issue. Frontier had installed a new router that broke their existing security camera system because of different subnets. Frontier, of course, refused to let me reconfigure their hardware — so I used this router to recreate the previous subnet and restore remote access to the cameras. Everything was up and running in about an hour. Overall, this is a great budget-friendly router with no frills but solid performance. If you need a dependable unit for home, travel, or small business use, and don’t want to spend a fortune, this one’s an excellent choice.

Very good product
I love these TP-Link routers since i have been unable to get Nexxt routers i have started buying these and let me tell you they work well. They are great to use as a wifi extender and the the price good for what you get, i have gotten some good range with these routers. It is very easy to setup just plug and play.

Buy this if you hate yourself
My internet provider sent me a router that wasn’t compatible with my Wi-Fi smart devices (light switches, outlets, etc.), so I bought this one mainly for its 2.4 GHz network. Setup was quick and easy, range is amazing, and when it works, it works great. However, it needs to be reset constantly. About once every week or two it loses connectivity, and all my smart switches stop responding until I hit the reset button. It’s a decent, inexpensive fix, but the reliability issues make it frustrating over time. Update, changed to 1 star. I hate this router. I can clearly see why someone returned it and why it needed to be renewed. When it is actually working it performs well, the range is long, and both the 2.4 and 5 GHz signals are strong and fast. However, it requires CONSTANT resetting. I only use this to provide a 2.4 connection for my smart devices because those devices struggle to connect to my “real router,” and even then this thing can barely stay running. I am taking the time to write this review as I am infuriatingly waiting for the router to reboot yet again.

Cheap router swap
Replaced end of life router after FBI warning. This was an inexpensive solution that works great. Did have issues connecting to my brand new Rheem heat pump water heater because of its old WPA2 TPK protocol requirement. My Canon pixma printer was also a challenge. Everything else was standard network reinitiation for all of the devices needing Wi-Fi connectivity. That takes a few hours and remembering each device's method.

Reliable dual-band router, excellent value renewed
The TP-Link Archer C54 AC1200 renewed router has been a solid performer as a secondary router in my home. The dual-band setup (2.4GHz and 5GHz) gives good flexibility for different devices. Setup was straightforward using the Tether app. The signal covers a medium-sized apartment without dead zones. The MU-MIMO technology helps when multiple devices are connected simultaneously. For a renewed unit, it came in great condition with all original accessories. I've had it running for several months without needing to reboot. Not a gaming powerhouse, but for everyday browsing, streaming, and work-from-home use, it does the job well at an excellent price point.
