what percentage is wool?

They are 70% Cotton, 30% Spandex, and absolutely no wool whatsoever despite the title.

Will this fit a woman's shoe size 5?

Not worth buying wore one pair liked them but when I washed them had hole in one plus fraying on the other sock so had to toss

are they tight around the top? i'm looking for socks like this that are loose around the top.

They are definitely loose at the top on me

Will these fit a wider calf?

Even though these socks are loose fitting they will only reach to just below your calf. They will however accommodate a wider ankle.
