Very nice phone. Attractive, well built. Just like the original. We use it with a Magic Jack and it works very well. Ringer could be a little louder.

I bought a $20 flip phone from the dollar store (Pre-paid phone) and I ordered the Cell-2-Jack to go with this cool phone. Now I turn the Bluetooth on my cell phone to "on" to connect with the Cell 2 jack and BOOM! I now have a portable Land line set up that just costs me $16 a month. And Yes this phone works Amazing. The middle of the handset has a switch to turn the volume up and down. I keep my flip phone next to this phone as a caller ID because the face shows who is calling. This phone IS LOUD. If you put it in a full and carpeted room then yes the acoustics will be muffled down to hard to hear so I put in my hall and the sound bounces off the walls loudly. The dial keys are quality feel and there is a panel where my finger is to place your phone # ....This phone does not use batteries or plug into the wall. You can do it the way I did it (No cords and grab to go ) or just plug your phone into it as needed.

Phone was easy to set up. It has a pleasant ring. The retro look is great. Delivery was prompt.

The ringer sounds great. Not much difference between normal and loud settings though. Sounds quality is great both speaking and listening. One reviewer mentioned the light doesn’t actually work when getting a call which is the case for me but it’s fine because I’d rather the light not be there at all. Pretty cool little phone if you still have landline service.

I sat and listened to it ring and then to the dial tone. I have had a phone like this since my grandmother passed away. So I love this phone. I got cell2jack which is sold here on Amazon. And this phone Is great Í have slammed the phone down in peoples faces and I just got this phone 2 hours ago. It’s like the phone the motels and hotels use to have. I LOVE IT AND YOU WILL TOO. I use it with my cell phone wait hokd on my daughter is calling Í gotta go slam the phone down in her face. See y’all later. Buy the phone you will not regret it.

Telephone was missing a cable. Ordered a replacement and that phone was missing 2 cables. I don’t understand how this is “Amazon’s Choice”. 2 orders placed and 0 phones work.

I wanted a backup phone that did not require AC power or batteries. Additionally I wanted a flashing light to indicate message waiting. I got two out of three. The light only flashes for incoming calls, and is rather dim and easy to miss. Sound quality is a bit muddied, not crystal clear. The handset cord is long, which is a plus. And the phone does work, so will function as a backup emergency phone, though I will not use it as a primary phone due to the sound quality.

I bought this for my mom, who has dementia and has trouble seeing. She has forgotten how to use a digital phone, so I got this for her, and she has no trouble answering the phone now. However it is a bit quiet, and the red light is not bright (not that she is checking for voicemails these days.) I do have a few suggestions for manufacturer: Mostly older people will be purchasing this, SO.....: - I feel like the light should be brighter and should indicate that a call is coming through, rather than a voicemail - the keys could be a lot bigger - you could have some cute colors. These are a little depressing ... ;) A younger person would only be buying this for a gag or for retro decor; older folks have trouble hearing, seeing and remembering are your target for this product, so if you made those changes, I think it would be great. The digital phones really do not cater to older people - they have volume control and larger keys, but the units are so complicated that elderly people can't really use them - at least this has been my experience, which is pretty vast at this point. :) Thank you!

Very cute and was s beautiful addition to home ..volume could be louder for old people..but worth the price .

The phone has the classic loud old ring. The sound from the handset is not as loud as one hoped. Has helped an elderly lady who is confused by too many buttons and also holding a small modern phone.
