D'Addario Guitar Dock - Adjustable Clamp Guitar Neck Rest - Fits to Any Flat Surface with Edge - Rotates for Multiple Angles

Fits onto any table edge, side table, shelf etc saving a lot of space compared to a rack or stand. Solidly built, and it just clamps on. Quick to screw on and off - so can be moved around to suit. It also swivels 90 degrees so you could also attach it to vertical poles, legs etc. Supports my electric offset guitar and bass guitar well. Easy to pull them out.

The product is sturdy and well made and it attaches easily and securely to a table. I have a couple of criticisms of it, however One is that is the part that comes in to contact with the guitar neck isn’t really padded like in a typical guitar stand, and so I worry that it could scratch a neck. I’m fine using it with a matt natural poly finished neck but I wouldn’t want to use it, for example with a gloss black nitro finished neck. Secondly the little prongs that stick out to keep the neck in the holder can make it a little tough to get the guitar in and out. I can’t really think of any better way of doing this, however. Also, the product appears to be able to be rotated 90 degrees to allow vertical mounting. The issue with that is it rotates too freely and several times when I’ve gone to place the guitar into it it’s rotated. This could be dangerous if you aren’t expecting it and you could potentially damage the guitar. Despite these criticisms I still think it’s a good product. I wouldn’t want to use this type of guitar stand with an expensive nitro finished guitar anyway, as it would be easy to knock it. I’m using it for a cheaper guitar and it’s quite alright.

Plastic but robust, vice jaws to screw it to any edge, rubberised arms to hold the neck in place. Does exactly what I bought it for. Reasonably elegant looking considering it’s a functional object. The quality you would expect from d’Addario / Planet Waves at this price point.

This simple device has increased my studio workflow no end. It's so quick to stow your guitar safely so you can crack on with creating the recording you are committed to. It's also great at protecting the guitar from my curious dogs. Will try it out in a pup "session" soon. Well worth the money.

This is the best design for purpose that I have found. It adjusts easily to most tables. Holds guitar well but better at an angle of 30° or thereabouts. Very pleased

This is a very robust and stable holder for guitar or similar instrument. It has a great advantage in that it can be used anywhere there is an edge, whatever the angle. It is very simple to use and, once in place, requires no effort to place your instrument. The only drawback, for some musicians, will be that it is quite bulky compared to its competitor the Pub Prop. You will need a fair-sized space in your gig bag or case.

It's a little expensive for what it is, but it really does work. Much more convienent than a stand, but also much less risky than just propping your guitar up against a desk/table etc. Also folds flat(ish) when not in use so you don't catch it on your trousers walking past! :D

Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Clamp insecure on the vast majority of table edges. Regularly slips off. Unreliable and risky. Pretty useless really. I’ve ordered a Pub Prop.

These holders are brilliant! You can mount them on almost any surface in any position. I originally bought them for a different shelf, but I was surprised to find they fit perfectly almost anywhere. Super versatile and very sturdy.

Eficiente

This is a neat little item that's light and portable, and that screws on vertically or horizontally. It's quick and easy to attach, and holds my guitar securely in place. Although bought for when I was travelling, I find myself constantly using it at home. So nice to keep my guitar within easy reach - I can just grab it when I want to play something, rather than having to trek to the guitar stand in another room. I hesitated to buy this dock because of the price, but I'm glad I did as I use it much more than expected 😊
