Excellent DIYer tool
Excellent DIYer tool, so very nimble for this size of router. Worth the extra you will spend over other cheaper alternatives.

Absolute quality
This makes the set with regards to routing, this replaced the same model I managed to burn out through continuous use, it was annoying that delivery was months rather than days but worth it

Be careful with this one
I like Trend Routers because they are accurate, easy to set-up, and normally good to go right of the box. However, a few days ago I bought a T5 and when it arrived, The first thing I did was to attempt to fit aTREND FHA/001 Fine Height Adjuster as I planned to use it with the trend pro/Mk3 router table. The three depth stops had bee tightened so severely I snapped of the longest stop, (not the screw, the stop column) which was needed to fit the FHA to. I thought ok these things happen so I returned it and ordered another. It arrived and obviously the first thing I did was to check the depth stops. I don't know why, but it was the same problem again. Aware now, I manage to ease the nuts free but not without damaging them (as can be seen from the 2nd pic). I don't know what Trend are doing, is it just a bad batch or something in their factory... I'm just passing on my experience and advising awareness... good luck.

ELU of old
Brilliant little tool. Had one a long time ago when it was the ELU MOF 96. Lasted me years of professional use. only packed up when it was serviced by an incompetent dealer. This is an improvement on the ELU but it would be nice if it had a simple micro adjuster on the depth stop, also, I think the guide fence rods are a bit short. Unless you need a 1/2 inch collet, highly recommended

I don’t like the on/off switch
Compared to the previous model this machine is a backward step , the plastic clip to hold the switch on is very loseable in the workshop and seems to be illogical . The speed control seems to cause minor fluctuations in speed on my particular router and vibrations cause all the thumbscrews to work loose , i will save up for a better quality machine then get rid of this one , if you can afford it there are better machines out there .

Quality neat little router.
This quickly delivered router is a neat comfortable to use size. I got it to replace a less expensive one which didn't turn out to be the bargain I thought it would be. Although this one is four times the price of the "bargain", I'm confident that this is money well spent. At first I thought they'd omitted the collet and collet-nut but they were already installed in the machine. I'm just waiting on my fine adjuster and then I'll be able to practice making dovetail joints on the Trend CDJ300 Dovetail Jig.
