Q: Is this made from abs or pla? reason i ask is because i live in a hot desert climate and things tend to melt inside a hot van. thanks!

The current version of this product is made of Polycarbonate (PC) plastic which has a melting temp of 265 C, and will not melt in a car unless it is on fire! ABS melts at around 200 C and PLA around 180 C for comparison. Original version was made of PLA and did indeed melt inside hot cars, so great question.

Q: What ram part number did you attach? i am looking at attaching an iphone on one side and an ipad mini on the passenger side. thanks! jim

Hi Jim, I have had a number of requests to modify the product so that other mounts may be attached, so I created two other product options: Cubby Mount with Solid Flat Face (you attach your own mount) and Cubby Mount with attached 1" RAM mount. Q: what holds this into the cubby slot in the dash? adhesive?

Adhesive not necessary. It fits by tight friction when you push it in, assisted by gravity as it is angled somewhat downward. Have not had an issue with them shaking loose.
