Must for subwoofers. True 2mm spec. High quality.
Let me start of by saying WOW! This made a huge difference in the SQ of my L7S pushing 930w rms. Before I had major rattles in my 2020 Honda Civic SI. Taking the time to do this to my trunk and Lid made me realize just how loud my subwoofer actually is. It literally eliminated the rattles throughout my whole car. I still plan on doing this to my doors and rear deck but once I upgrade the speakers. I still have half of the box just doing the trunk and lid so 1 box of 36sf will be enough for most of the areas that need to get done. You may need a little more overall. This is true 2mm spec. Very sticky and easy to apply. It just take time to finish the work correctly and roll it down. It is not as heavy as I thought it was going to be. The size of the sheets are perfect for what you need to do. The value is on point for the quality. It does not rip very easily but you can cut it to size without any problems. Again, This is a must buy for anyone who is pushing 1000w rms or more.

Good stuff !
This is an excellent product. Easily moldable, cuttable with good scissors or razor knife, very sticky, works great. This pack was enough to do all 4 doors on a crew max truck, and I went wild on the fronts. I used 9 peices on each rear door which was just enough, and the rest on the fronts. I doubled up layers and even used some on the back of the door panels. If you follow the instructions and dont go wild you might even have extra left over. It works just like you would imagine. Without doing the entire cab there will still be road noise but this helped noise, better audio, no buzzing door panels, terrific improvement. It is kind of heavy, so extra weight is added to truck, but that really isnt a bad thing. It is noticable but in a good way. Get it. Use it.

Buy more than you think you'll ever need! You'll use it. You'll love it.
I keep thinking I bought too much, then I find more places that need it! This stuff is amazing. Great value. Easy to use. Works. It's not magic. But if you place it carefully, you'll absolutely hear the difference. I used it on the body of my subwoofer, directly on fender panels and fender wells. Here's a total hack. Keep your scraps and remove the rubber itself from both backings. Use little balls of the material or little rolled up strips of the material to quiet down small rattling parts. For example, you know those little removable plastic clips that stab into the door to hold your door-card on. Pull those off, wrap the base in a little of the rubber, then snap them back into the door card. The little clips will no longer rattle in the door card, or headliner, but can still move around enough to self-locate when you snap them in. Game changer for little rattles. My Tesla model 3 sounded like garbage when I bought it. It sounds amazing now. Also helped my BMW 4 series a lot!

Quality product you
Summary: Great quality product, priced right. Cuts and installs easy-follow the instructions people!! PRO TIP-you don’t need to cover every square inch. OVERKILL!! Think about it-when a bell rings you could put your fingers on the edge and silence it right? Same rules apply here. A strip or square will isolate the vibration and notice when placed correctly— knock on the surface and see what vibrates or what part makes the loudest drowning and that’s a good clue of where you should put a piece of this…unless you’re trying to use it for temperature insulation no need to go ape on it. If you look at the bottom of a stainless steel sink, it’s got a stripe or a small sticker of insulation that keeps it from rattling. You can do that here. What’s important to note is the instruction specifically say use a roller to roll the ribs out until it’s smooth that way you’ve got maximum adhesion. I see a lot of pictures and videos from people that finished their install and didn’t follow this simple instruction. It makes sure that it’s stuck down before you put all your paneling and carpet back in and it’s a small step with a cheap wooden roller it’s easy. I’ll say the installation with this product is a breeze. You can use sharp scissors or a blade. It does get gummy after a while, and you may need to clean off your blade or your scissors, but it cuts very well and the ribs make it easy to size in space the thickness is fantastic and the backing paper comes off quite easily. I’ve done lots of installations with Graphics emblems you name it and this product is very easy to use and represents good value.

It is easy to confirm to countours and it bonds to surface well.
I read everything I could in every brand of this product. I have no experience in use of others in market. However this product performed exceptionally well in all area's of my concern. Adhesion biggest factor. Ease of install exceeded my expectations. Sound deadening? It did stop cross beam noise that were just glued to stop noise from manufacturer. Heat resistant is a good word for this product. I installed product in vehicles doors. Then went shopping. Came back to car full sun side door aluminum shield was very hot. However non other on market could prove different about their products. As far as odor the product delivered on quality of backing being no odor. Even with heat on door. No odor. ( No I do not have Covid) Overall very satisfied the amount to do my project pretty much matched the manufacturers suggestions in ordering product. I also purchased the sound deadening waterproof foam as a top dress. I used the heat shield and covered with the foam in roof of vehicle. That did make a difference in sound deadening and once headliner is reinstalled I believe it will buffer hear from outside a bit. This product as heat shield in my opinion would be more effective and added benifit to snow and cold country at trapping heat inside vehicle. I gave it less stars as I have no comparison to other products. I am thinking on ordering more . I also used it in place of undercoating in tough area's see what happens as it wears. It definately sticks to clean surfaces.

Product works for what it's designed for but I will say it is a lot messier than some of the other brands of sound deadening I've used! It sticks well but it seems to become a lot more soft and tacky in the heat compared to other brands! Great value if you're on a budget! It does have an odor kind of like a kind of asphalt tar smell but it goes away after a couple days. Decent quality for the price and the thickness is as advertised. Sticks on easy so installation is a breeze and it's easy to cut which is great!

Works for ducting
I saw this being used for deadening sounds and vibration on ductwork on a YouTube video. I was a little skeptical and hesitant to spend the money but then I remember engineers using something similar at work for sound proofing. So I thought, why not, anything to absorb the vibration and sound is better than what I'm hearing right now. I installed it mainly on the surfaces that I could reach, so the one side facing me and the bottom. Most of it covering the square ductwork closest to the furnace. Then covered the ends and part way thru if it was still tinny when I tap it. I then added extra pieces on the round ductwork that goes to each room. Just at the start and end of the round ductwork. So far, it's pretty quiet with the fan on. I don't hear any clicking or creaking. With the heat turning on, it's so much quieter than before. There's still a little humming from the intake motor and some subdued creaking from the ducts warming up. Other than that and the sound of airflow, this sound deadening material works great. I still have extra so I'll add some more to see if I can get that motor to run quieter. I didn't put any deadening material on the intake and exhaust tubes, so I'll try that too. And probably add more to the round tubes and possibly more around the furnace body. I didn't put any on the lower part of the furnace. So far I'm happy with this material and would totally recommend it.

Legendary performance
Hands down a must for anyone wanting to get the most from any speaker system. Add this to the inner of your doors and I recommend a baffle also. You will not be let down. Just be sure to clean your inners first then be sure to have gloves. Surprisingly shocked at how easy it was to install. Didn’t stick to gloves that much and was easy to reposition. I folded big pieces up with only a tiny portion of the paper peeled back then crammed it into the door to then position it and then remove the paper starting with sticking it in the furthest to reach corners first. I do recommend using a high-quality soft roller to get it to go down super solid however be mindful on some automobiles that metal of the exterior part of the doors is so thin you could actually cause damage by over rolling or by going off the mat itself. One box was enough to do four doors on a 2022 Chevy equinox. Do not use this on anywhere else than the inside of the door and do the inner part of the door that you can’t see as well for best results. I’ve tried several sound ending options and this is definitely a must with any system. Furthermore, take a little bit of egg crate foam self adhesive and put it directly behind the speaker for best results. You might notice your car door shut like a solid Mercedes and you hear less road noise. Just do it!!
