Pillow Thoughts

This collection of poetry and prose showcases some of the rawest and beautiful writing that I have had the pleasure of reading in a long time. Courtney's writing is deceptively straightforward but speaks with a voice that is both honest and delves directly into your soul. Even short poems like 'what makes me smile' are touching with every word and made me smile long after I finished reading them. The poetry in this book is both extremely heartfelt and captures human emotion in its truest form. The ability to articulate emotions that are relatable to all the readers is the biggest strength of the collection; and it is hard not to be moved by poems which move seamlessly from expressing hurt, heartbreak but ultimately also the optimism of love, healing and self worth. This collection has already had me re-reading a number of times, and each time, poems speak to my soul in a different way. A beautiful read for anyone with an appreciation for poetry or short prose, highly recommended.

This collection has a real consistency and it rangea from good, pleasant and sad poems that pass you by to ones you're instantly highlighting to return too. It's the sort of book i can imagine owning physically one day to pick out the poetry that resonates with me

There are loads of poetry pieces in this book that have touched both my heart and soul, so bittersweet.

Im happy the product came and is all intact.. on the other hand is very used with marks and scratches everywhere, not complaining much for £5.

These poems are exactly what I needed. I cried so many happy tears when reading, because I relate so so much to Courtney. It feels good because it's like someone finally gets me, and Courtney has beautifully written thoughts on a page, that I feel too. It has really made me reassessed why I’m here. I absolutely love it, and really hope many many more people buy the book as I'm sure it will help you too.
