Stanley Light Duty Staple Gun 0-TR45

After buying cheaper Rolson stapler's in a starter kit with staples and them breaking and finding it impossible to purchase buy the correct size staples to fit, I found this Stanley one it's well built as you'd expect and works perfectly, I purchased the recommended staples and they did not fit the stapler at all I had to make a second purchase of staples which were Stanley 1-TRA205T Type A Staples, Silver, 8 mm, Set of 1000 Pieces is what I had to order and they fitted perfectly this stapler takes Type A Stanley staples not just any size of staple

This is the second one I bought. The last one lasted a number of years used very often at home for various jobs plus in my shop. Great bit of kit. Primarily I use it for posters but I have just used it to secure a moisture barrier on a new shed.

I bought 5 of these so far for my canvas framing business. They are lightweight and very powerful for pinewood frames. The only problem I've had is that they only last me for 4-5 months, but I mean heavy use, until the spring plate inside shatters. For around 10£, it's really worth the money. I would say for normal use, they should last years, no problem. Altogether, great stapler.

Bought this stapler because of the name. So disappointing to to realise that it would not take my stock of staples, looks like it is exclusively for Stanley staples. It doesn't even come with a small supply of staples to get you started. Returning.

I used it for attaching a liner to my wooden planters. Strong enough to do this while still being lightweight enough for me to use. My hands are arthritic now and I cannot use anything that needs too much power.

I have 2 other hand staple guns, which require a lot of pressure to release a staple - sometimes needing 2 hands to ensure the staple comes out flush. Not easy in awkward to reach spots. This Stanley gun is soo easy to use one handed, no undue pressure needed. Wish I'd bought it years ago!
