Great product - I just keep ordering them. So far I have 4 of them around the house and shop. Real easy to mount with the double sided sticky pads (two provided). Screws are also provided. The purchased even comes with a couple of strong and attractive hooks - complete with double sided tape. Very well built. It's so nice to be able to mount them vertically or horizontally. The ratcheting mechanism keeps the paper towels from unrolling on their own.

Good product the glue works perfect and sturdy, great quality price was worth it I like how it looks and the space are saving over my counter, I put it on by myself and was easy I love the extra hooks that it comes with

Bought a new RV, used the adhesive to secure under the cabinet near the sink. Easy install, looks nice, paper towel did not unravel while driving.

I recently purchased this paper towel holder for my guest house. In general, I’m very pleased with it. It allows you to tear a single paper towel without the entire roll unraveling. It does make a clicking sound, like a ratchet, when you pull on a towel, but it’s not loud or annoying. It holds the roll snugly and fits the Costco paper towel rolls, with room to spare. I installed it under the upper cabinet next to the kitchen sink, using the screws provided. I like that it also came with screw covers, so once installed, it looks tidy and cohesive. Now, the install…I’m an avid DIY’er, so, in general, it was an easy job. BUT, the instructions are quirky. They say to drill the holes, insert the “plastic tubes”, put the screws in the wall then attach the holder. So, basically, step 3 and 4 are flipped. Anyway, I didn’t need the instructions, but I always read them ahead of time. Once I marked and drilled the holes, attaching the holder to the cabinet was tricky because the metal pieces that bulge out to hold the paper roll get in the way and there’s no real straight shot to tighten the screws. But, with some patience, I was able to get it done successfully. All-in-all, I’m very pleased with the purchase and will be getting another one for my main house. I knocked it down a star due to the awkward install.

Perfect! Fits Viva Jumbo paper towels. That brand is thicker than bounty because it’s not as compressed. I almost bought the standard one but knowing how my husband yanks on the roll this mechanism works best. I’m still waiting for the adhesive to adhere. Give 24 hours is what directions say but I put the roll on not expecting it to fit but it fits and works great. It comes with two adhesive strips if the one fails. Clean with alcohol is always a given before sticking to surface.Also can be drilled but I followed the directions and heated the adhesive on both sides then immediately stuck it to the holder and then under my cabinets. My wood is smooth with a finish. But if you wait more than 30 secs after heating it loses the stickiness you want but just reheat again. I have a convection range and just turned my burner on high and turned it off then rotating the adhesive. I noticed all it does is release the glue, which is brilliant because if you just touch it in places with adhesive it can affect the hold. The first time I heated the strip I noticed the stickiness wasn’t as good because I waited being hesitant thinking which side matters but both sides are the same. Then reheated and it was sticky again like it should be; it’s rubber like and the adhesive is just in the rubber. I think this will help also when removing, and that may be the purpose of the tape. But once it was stuck it held. I just pressed firmly In several places making sure it would be adhering, lol, to get the best stick to surface. The extra tape is good if you decide to move it or if overtime it may come off, usually though it either sticks and with proper care will hold. I was reluctant and almost bought a back up but I’m glad I waited I will be ordering a couple more. The hooks are just a bonus for the price — in my opinion is a modest price and it’s well worth it! I bought it thinking if it didn’t hold or didn’t work with larger rolls or in general, I could just use the hooks. I’m noticing a lot of cool new gadgets and housewares that are innovative and practical on Amazon and I’m loving it…finally products that are made ensuring a combination of quality and convenience and still remaining practical in design. So I’m just not guessing it may work and saying, “oh well it was only a few dollars”, if it doesn’t work out. I knew it would be good for paper towels drilled, because of the design but wasn’t sure how the adhesive process would go, or if a giant roll would fit. But once I applied it to the surface and pressed I can see it will. Like I said, the rubbery feel with a little stickiness threw me off but when it said heat, and I had to reheat bc within 30 secs it was losing the stickiness I understand it’s like rubber but with glue inside but it doesn’t have an effect on it sticking bc once it seals to the surface(other than maybe weather conditions)it will stick. But when removing it won’t be a mess to get off the surface. I’m very impressed, and for what I paid even more impressed, and extremely grateful for all these new products that aren’t Brand name — in the sense of the meaning — being available. It’s really becoming an Amazon of high quality products and I still feel like I’m supporting small businesses. I love a lot of brand names but variety mixed with option in who you buy from is always a plus. So happy hunting for you, and I! Pretty easy to install and the adhesive is pretty strong. Im glad they come with 2 packs of adhesive tapes just in case you change ur mind you can switch it to a different area. The adhesive when removing is pretty tuff but but impossible just takes some time. Its a great space saver and easy to use. I ended up buying multiple for different homes 🏡

It's always nice to be able to grab a single paper towel with one hand, without the whole roll unraveling. I always buy paper towel rolls that allow you to tear off a rectangular sheet; known as select-a-size, pick-a-size, and tear a square, depending on the brand. For this, the paper towel holder needs some resistance to turning built in. This one has it. It also is designed to compresses a bit when you slide on a roll of paper towels, so that helps with preventing it from unrolling too easily. Another nice feature is that it came with both adhesive on the mounting plate and holes for mounting it with screws. I don't trust the adhesive alone, so I mounted it with screws for easier removal in the future. The advertising photos for the "Silver" color option show that the roller mechanism is made of 304 stainless steel and that it consists of five layers, including an outer "Baking Finish Layer". This is odd because stainless steel is inherently anti-corrosive, so it doesn't need five layers. Regardless, the finish looks good. This holder works well under a kitchen cabinet and is easily attached with screws. As long as it performs its intended function of dispensing paper towels when pulled using one hand, I'll be happy.

Was not good quality. The stainless spring would fall out unless paper towel roll was installed. I tried every way to adjust to fix that but couldn’t. I sent this back to amazon
