Fine quality candles that truly burn for seven hours.

I like the fact that the candles are ivory instead of a stark white color. The candles are dripless and straight. Some of the other candles I have bought were definitely not straight. I put the new candles in 6 days ago and they have not even burned halfway (we use candles every night with dinner).

Love these Bolsius candles! Smokeless and dripless. We lived in Holland for a few years and used these candles every evening and never had One drip or smoke. When I saw them on Amazon, I could not wait to order them, and now order them regularly and have never been disappointed.

Fantastic value for the quantity and price. You need to have these on hand so that when you have those fabulous parties, you are ready to rock. Lit candles on the table mean that you are serious about your holiday or romance, as the case may be. The ivory matches everything --- gold or platinum rimmed dishes --- looks great in crystal or silver candleholders. Be sure to keep them in a cool place so they don't gently bend while you store them (do not store them in a high place in the room where the air is warmer, or near a radiator or vent or in a hot garage). And don't let the pup chew them up. I have used this color with light pink napkins, dark pink, dark purple, fall colors (very yummy with yellows, oranges, and browns), as well as reds and greens, and even blue velvet at Christmas. The ivory candle color is probably more versatile than white or any other color. If you do not yet use candles on your holiday tablescapes, go ahead and do it. You can get inexpensive pretty glass holders at Goodwill or the dollar store, and eventually you will add more at different heights. Goodwill is a great place to get lovely bowls and dishes and things for your tablescapes. Amazon has great fabric napkins, as does Hobby Lobby. Add some small groups of flowers and some fabric napkins --- et voila --- your table will be rocking!!! If this review was helpful to you, please upvote below.

I love these candles and have been using them for years. Recently, they've had more breakage that usual, which is disappointing. Maybe a fragile sticker on the outside of the box they're packed in?

The candles were amazing! They did drip some, but it was really breezy, my reception space was open, outside in Florida in September. If you are not in Florida, that means it was very hot, muggy, and rainy outside. Due to the conditions I think they did wonderfully, and they looked beautiful. It was exactly what I pictured for my wedding reception!

For this volume and quality, there really isn’t a better option on the market. While I do, however, greatly question the burn time and how this was calculated. I use these candles in my restaurants, and they look great—but every now and then, I end up with a few that burn substantially faster than the others. I’m talking the entire candle burned down in under 45 minutes to an hour, which of course does not match the advertised burn time. When this happens, the candle melts quickly, leaving just a long, burnt wick behind. Now, this occurs with about 10-15 candles per 200-count batch, this isn't an all the time thing—but it still happens. Additionally, the general burn time of the bulk of the candles is closer to 4-5 hours, at best—not quite what’s advertised. It’s a frustrating inconsistency, especially when we rely on them so regularly in my business.

I do lots of volunteer work at historic sites that do night-time programs. They have zero budget for candles. So, I gift them a handful of these on each event to cover all their candlesticks. They are the perfect Ivory color, the correct shape, and the last more than one event. Great item, excellent price and value.
