What material are they made from?

I'm pretty sure they are primarily cotton (probably 80% of more) with a little polyester and spandex. Very comfortable, padded and soft inside. Like a cozy sweatshirt for your feet and legs. Great length, foldable on top and breathable, too. As good or better than the socks that come with the boot, and at a much better price.
