I see two different versions in the photos. Are these the version with the rounded ends, or the ones with the pointy ends?

these clips are to small for 3 inch wide bar they fit about 1 inch bar

Does it secure tight in place or will it slide or move if touched?

The only way it will slide is if the support you're attaching it to is smaller. If it fits snug, it won't move
