I want to use this heat mat on a kitchen worktop under the propagator is this likley to damage the worktop with the heat?

The heating pad only gets to about 20 digress, which is only warm. I have my one in the propergater with no problem. Put some newspapers down first .try making your own out of a storage box. The mat fits spot on. But you will need to drill some holes in it. Best of luck will.

Some one in the reviews said on the instructions you can't use this product with grow lights. Is that so?

Will this heat my plant terrarium to 24-25°C?

It may do but there is no way to control it. The mat heats up to a specified temperature, but it has no thermostat and may or may not be able to maintain that temperature when it colder or warmer outside.

What temperature should seeds germinate at?

I think it varies depending on seed types but mostly seeds like a gentle warmth which generally, will encourage germination. Germination will naturally take place as spring makes everything warmer but the seedling mat makes it easier to get all your seeds to germinate.
