Q: can you use a roller attachment with this gun.

I wouldn't recommend it..its great for spraying ceilings.if ya need to just back roll as you spray

Q: What filter does this take?

It comes with a funky cheepy red top that's incompatible with other tips I've tried made by grecko. But the answer really depends on what color tip housing you have on it. They are interchangeable. I hope this helps in any way. Best of luck to you.
