Curl Treat Jelly Shaping Leave-in Styler to Shape Curls

I got a perm in the fall, but during COVID could not go to the hairdresser to get another one. I was looking for a product that would help boost my curls and hold them. I half-dry my hair in a towel or hair wrap and use a tablespoon equivalent portion of this and scrunch. Either diffuse or air dry. Curls turned out GREAT and lasted a few days without fail: much better than other curl products I've been trying. Curls are a little "crunchy" at first, but after sleeping on them, the gel breaks up and you're left with softer curls. Awesome product, and smells good too! :)

A little of this stuff goes a long way, but it is absolutely perfect for my 2 A/B/C waves/curls. I rub a small amount between my hands and apply it with the praying hands method to wet hair, scrunch it up, and either air dry or diffuse. When my hair is 100% dry, I scrunch it out. I get great volume with my hair this way, and the curls are defined, bouncy, shiny, and frizz free! On refresh days, I add a good-sized glob to a spray bottle, mix with water, and spray down my hair. Then I scrunch and let dry in my preferred manner, scrunching out the crunch after. This works so well for refresh days! I will say that I wasn’t that impressed with the product when my hair was long and practically layer-free, but now that I’ve had a proper haircut with layers put in, it’s amazing.

So far I really love this product. It brings out the best of my curly texture without wearing my hair down too much and the smell does not bother me or my Sensitive Scalp.

My daughter has super thick, tight curls with lots of frizz and she loves this stuff. I honestly can't stand the overly sweet pear smell. But I guess if it works for her, it will work for most with thick curly hair, thats prone to frizz.
