This is a superb bit of kit for just £42.I bought it for use in the car, and it connected by Bluetooth without any problem, but really it is too good just for car use. It does everything as advertised, AND it will RECORD a CD or radio programme onto a micro (TF) memory card.It is beautifully made, easy to use, and the sound quality through decent headphones is incredibly good.Highly recommended.

Let's get the negatives out of the way first. I bought this only for the cd player so these next few details don't matter to me. Having tried the FM radio I found it couldn't really pick up anything but I have plenty of other radios. I found the Bluetooth a bit of a hassle but I'm sure that will be ok.I chose the KLIM after considering buying a refurbished Sony Discman. I love the wood effect body and the case is a nice extra. The first album I decided to play was Steve Cropper's 'Friendlytown' which I have only just bought from Amazon. By the way it's a great album! I first played it on my hi-fi system to give myself a reference point then tried it with the KLIM.I tried the supplied earphones and was slightly horrified at the sound. I then plugged in an old pair of over ear headphones and it sounded superb! No real surprise to me as I have never really liked those little earphones which come with phones etc. How can a tiny speaker give you the same listening experience as a larger speaker?I then decided to try an album which I have listened to hundreds of times, Mike Oldfield's 'Tubular Bells'. That album features a multitude of instruments played at various sound levels and the KLIM did an excellent job of reproducing every instrument the way it was intended. I would always recommend auditioning audio equipment with some music that you know very well as not all equipment is up to the job.The EQ settings are very good and I'm sure that one of them should keep most people happy. As I said if you're after a very good portable cd player this will do the job but do yourself a favour and get a decent pair of headphones as well.

I’d give 5 stars but the Bluetooth connection isn’t the most straightforward, and for some reason it won’t find my Skullcandy headphones, but it will find my Sony speaker which is really what I wanted to use it with, so that’s OK

Having recently bought the new Beatles Red & Blue Albums on CD, it seemed like a good idea to replace an old broken portable CD player with something modern. I looked at the specs of this and thought it was worth a punt.My scepticism was utterly blown away by both how well this product works, but particularly for the undocumented feature that is in the product's excellently written manual, but oddly missing from the sales information.Yes it plays back CDs, yes it's got an FM radio and yes it plays back MP3s from a 32GB Micro SD Card (which you need to purchase separately.Now here's the thing, it will also RECORD CDs and Radio to a Micro SD Card. The recording quality is superb.I have two small criticisms. It has a built-in audio spectrum display on its LCD panel, which to be honest is too slow and therefore is a completely useless feature. It would have been wonderful if they had built-in CD Text decoding instead. There is no FM stereo decoder, so radio stations are in mono sound only.This has to be one of my favourite devices for its style and functionality. Grab one whilst you can.

Don’t normally get as excited as this, but been looking at this for some time - I have over 2000 albums & god know how many singles in iCloud on my phone. I have every single cd I’ve ever owned on my 160GB Classic IPod. But you can’t find every compilation album out there, I have thousands of cds in a box & given vinyl is back. It’s these incredible features of technology Bluetooth on a portable cd player !!! Really, I’ve spent thousands of pounds over the decades with sound systems. Pro logic Kenwoods stack systems & Sony you name it. I have a stunning Bose system all Bluetooth & this incredible bit of kit engaged straight away & the sound well it was like - have that!!! Stunning!!! If you have a cd you want to hear or as like me of an age that music is just everything in the world & want to dust off some seriously good CD’s then this is the tool - the reviews speak for themselves 🎶🎵👍🏻

So impressed with this CD player, you can see the company are so proud of their product and send a little welcome envelope with extras telling you all about them. The item itself is brilliant, it came fully charged and I still haven’t needed to charge it several weeks later. It has all the features you would expect such as random shuffle and programmable track order. Sound quality is excellent. It’s lightweight but very well made. Good value for money. I’m listening to so many of my old cds again which is never think to listen to since I started using iPhone digital versions instead, and it’s way more fun. I’ve actually started buying cds again too. Also this player has Bluetooth so it’s easy to play through the home stereos and car. It’s actually quicker than digitising through the computer and adding to the iPhone too, there is still a place for cds and this player is perfect.

Spent days looking at reviews on loads of CD players and eventually took the plunge on this one. I'm so glad I did as it delivers on everything I was looking for. Great looking unit, easy to use but most important of all the sound quality is excellent. I like a deep bass sound and you get this utilising the 'EQ' button (Rock option) Highly recommended.

Very light and compact. Plays beautifully, excellent sound quality. The machine itself is quiet, no whirring noise at all. The rechargeable battery is great, doesn't take long to charge and really lasts a long time. For this price it is hard to find a better CD player that has so many pleasing features. Very prompt dispatch and delivery too.

This little discman is so awesome! It connected perfectly to my record players BT speaker function and sounds great! Love the packaging and the portability!Edit: My first discman ended up having a faulty display! I messaged Klim and was greeted with a very kind email from a nice man name Stephan and we got me a replacement model in just a few days! Thanks so much for the speedy response and replacement!

Gelijk dag er na weer terug gestuurd: Display werkte niet. Terugbetaling gaat erg veel tijd over heen na aankomst(> 3 weken eer er gemeld wordt, dat de uitbetaling gedaan gaat worden.

Yesterday Amazon delivered some love to me. I cut the factory seal, carefully opened the slick jet-set box, and began to fall in love with this KLIM CD player. Fun start reading the comics. Then my eyes glazed with joy on the wood finish, whoa baby. I like the big well-lit buttons, too. Ok, cool, it's easy to hold and manipulate the console. Can't miss the well thought out controls layout either. The volume toggle feature appears spring loaded to feel-confirm up or down increments. Yeah baby, I like what I see and feel!It was time to make music to hear the sound quality. The Nomad’s Bluetooth connected seamlessly to my portable Bose speaker. Now the Nomad spun a CD by Michael Jackson King of Pop, revving the engine in the way you make me feel. Exceptional clarity of sound waves in this pairing. Note - I'm still not successfully connected to my LG neck set. The LG shows in the search list, gets highlighted, but no sound. Will check further.I got a sensational level of high fidelity sound from the CD player, especially through the included KLIM ear phones. It was a truly remarkable and nostalgic experience listening to the clarity of Grand Funk Railroad in I'm your captain on selection 8 of the CD. And I'll do it again, and again and again...The combined portability, battery life, and quality of sound by the player is priceless, but there's no sense in paying too much. I found the features and performance in this CD player package to be well worth around sixty bucks in Aug 2025 economics (likely before tariffs).
