Works fine for me. It seems like you really need to hold it close to the liquid to get a proper temperature, which is sometimes awkward in a small cup, but the nice thing is when you let go of the button it holds the last read temp. Other than that it is much smaller than the alternatives and matches the temp read by 2 other thermometers I have. Highly recommended if this is your cup of tea... or for your cup of tea!

Great design
I like the design, but it always go over the ideal temperature to steam the milk.

Good product
I wish it had a better grip or a safety features for if you were to drop it in a liquid, it would be protected as it feels a little cheap.

Not accurate at all
I tried it on boiling water (212 F) and it showed 176 F at most. I never saw it go higher than 180 F. As a thermal meter, it is very misleading and you will likely overheat everything if you trust it.
