I had to return it because it was not the right shade but I liked the ease with which you could use it. Ordered it in another shade and was very happy.

Was a tile installer for 25 years. There are better ways for sure, but this is an excellent fix if you are willing to maintain it. Took me minutes to do a 25 ft. bathroom with 12 x 12s. Light gray looked great. Grout looks new. Covered in 1 application

This product would work for really only one purpose, and that is tracing over the grout between tiles, and if you don't need a close color match. I needed something to match tiles where I had grouted in very narrow, irregular cracks and also a couple of chipped areas. The tiles were a gray color that was common in the 1950s and for the most part have been well-preserved as original mid-century details. The tip of the pen is too wide for that kind of crack, so the paint got on the tile on either side. It wipes off easily if you do it immediately, but then it essentially wipes off of the grout also. I found that if I covered the areas where I had grouted to fill in chips, it was more effective. However, the color was not a match. It was the only gray available but far too dark. I wiped it mostly away and the remaining paint then more or less matched the tile, which was an improvement over the white of the grout. So I used it as a stain rather than as a paint, I guess. I think if one was using it for lines of grout between tiles, a steady hand would be necessary. This item is essentially exactly like any paint marker available at a craft store; presumably the paint in this is waterproof once it dries. My tiles are not in a location that gets wet. I don't think it would have the same appearance as a colored grout, since it is an opaque paint. I think it would look exactly like you had painted over grout. In areas where my white grout had gotten dirty, I just applied a thin coat of actual grout and it looked like new.

GREAT PRODUCT! just be sure to shake it! and keep shaking throughout your project. and i recommend cleaning and drying your surfaces well first too. Also, you can flip the tip over if it starts getting fuzzy or frayed. just pull it out gently (comes out pretty easy) and flip it and place back into the pen. But I found the tip stays in tact pretty well. The paint comes out easily too and just the right amount - not to runny, not too dry. I used the light gray and glad i did. and tho it took some time bc I had a lot of small stone tiles to go around, it came out great! I purchased both the regular and jumbo bc i wasn't sure, but you wd have to have HUGE grout lines for the jumbo. That said the large still came in handy bc i started running out of paint in the smaller pen -- so i just dispensed some out from the jumbo pen and dipped the smaller one in that and it worked just fine. Hope this helps. I def recommend - it dries overnight too and from the next shower in the morning the paint has stayed well in tact - and it was shower flooring. Love it! i will try to post a before and after too.

I have a ceramic tile kitchen counter. The bridge grout was looking bad/I tried the bridge, but found that the silver pen wirked great.

The pen does not work on my grout. I used it on a few tiles and it immediately was frayed and worn out. It would no longer glide on smooth and was messy. The color would not actually go cover the grout at that point. When I was looking at the pen part it completely fell out. Unfortunately I will be returning. On a positive note...I did like the color.

Ich dachte es wäre nicht so grau die Farbe aber habe diese trotzdem dann verwendet. 1 Stift hat für das kleine Badezimmer ausgereicht, damit die schwarzen Fugen weg waren. Hoffe, dass das Ergebnis nun auch so bleibt. Vor 2 Stunde gemalert.

Great product, so easy to use, literally just need to draw lines through the grout, that’s it and it’s done. No harsh chemical smell either. Regarding the colour, the chart shown is what the colour looks like on the paper but since grout is a different texture, therefore the actual colour would be lighter.
