I give shortbread as a gift to my wife instead of chocolates all the time. Normally I get Walkers but I thought I'd try these as see what she thought. She liked them enough but liked the Walkers brand more. Maybe a little too crumbly and not enough bitterness (that word is now trademarked by me). They aren't expensive so give them a try and compare, you might like them more than my wife does.

I got these just to see if they were the same as Walkers... they are NOT. I will stick with Walkers, they are more expensive, but worth it. And I like their indivually wrapped 2 finger packs. This had 2 packages of 10 fingers. They tasted stale to me the expiration date is in 4 mos. And lots of tiny crumbs like they were bounces around a lot. But I am used to Walkers brand. Others may like them, I did not. Hope this is of help to someone, give a click if it was.

Very bad, stale taste and old stock. Unfortunately no return I had to throw everything.

I have bought several times, this last time bought two boxes as they are very good cookies, however this last shipment came in an envelope so all cookies were broken. Both boxes were all in pieces. Please return to boxes and I will continue to order.

These are solid and pleasant with a cup of tea. This manufacturer produces hard, rather than the softer crumbly nature of some shortbread biscuits.
