One has to take these at “Face Value” and on trust. It is almost certain that gut bacteria are essential to health. First capsules have to avoid gastric acid killing the bacteria, then the further digestive processes. If these are happy in our gut why don’t they multiply and not need a. Daily dose?. A bacterium can divide every 30 minutes so a million would be two million.. it is true that the bulk of the stool is made up of dead bacteria but Multiplying at such Rate should more than replace the losses.
