Q: Is this OK to use on the outside of the garage, is it waterproof?

Yes, it is designed to be used on the outside of the garage door. It is supplied with a plastic dust cap which will help prevent water getting into the lock.

Q: Does this come with a cover to keep water out of lock?

I bought mine about 5 years sgo, it did come with a cover over the bolt, but make it water tight around the bolt, as the water will fill up the hole you've drilled, & make the bolt rusty.

Q: Is the key cylinder drill proof, and the cylinder pin hacksaw proof

yes it is drill proof and hawsaw proof and i find it a excellent garage door lock bill

Q: My garage has a 2cm high piece of rubber along the end of it (for reducing noise and water getting through I think); could I still fit this?

Would think you would have to fit it over the rubber as it needs to be flush on the ground think the bolts are higher than 2cm it is a good product .
