OXO Good Grips Angled Baster with Cleaning Brush

If you have burned yourself using a spoon - this is the gadget for you. Really great for collecting the fat and ensuring that your roast is fully basted.

Best baster I could ask for. Yes it can be expensive but it is worth it. It goes in the dishwasher and nothing has rubbed off. It has a little stand so nothing is touching the kitchen surfaces. It's very simple and easy to use. Easy to clean as you can remove the parts. It's light, does not leak, and it's very good quality.

This is the best baster I've bought do far. It's massive in size. Easily baste a big turkey. I have many other OXO branded kitchen items and they are the best quality I've ever known. As you can see ifln the photos the nozzle and rubber suction handle can be easily removed for washing. I wouldn't recommend this in the dishwasher incase the markings and measurements become faded or scratched off because I know some items do get scratched in dishwashers. It's easy to wash my hand anyways. It comes with a cleaning brush which is so handy. It also comes with a little plastic stand on the tube part of the baster, as seen in photos. To stop the baster dripping onto the counter top. Simple and easy to use. Great size for the price. Highly recommended purchase for basting all meats!

It's okay. I find that it's not the best at being a pipette because liquid that you suck into the pipette has a tendency to flow out via gravity, whereas I would've expected it to be able to hold the liquid inside using the vacuum created with the bulb. But it works, and it comes with a cleaning brush that works well for the pipette as well as for cleaning other things in my kitchen.

Does exactly what you think it does

Very good quality and very useful.

I didn't realise how awful my old baster was until I bought this one. It is so good. Easy peasy to suck up all the juices, doesn't spill or drip. I really like the design for putting it down on the worktop when you're finished with it without any mess. I was hesitant to spend so much on a baster when you can get them for a few quid, but with this you get what you pay for - it's so much better and it's worth every penny! Treat yourself.

I recently needed to replace my previous baster and was struggling to find something that looked like it would actually do the job properly. A lot of basters for sale at the lower end of the price point can suffer from clouding and even cracking of the plastic from contact with hot liquids, through to a general inability of the bulb section to actually hold the liquid in the baster without prematurely dripping/pouring it out everywhere. After looking at the others available I finally decided to spend a little more and get the Oxo angled baster. First impressions when I received it were good - the construction is well thought out and executed and in use it both holds liquids well and doesn't suffer from any clouding or cracking of the main clear baster tube in use with hot liquids. My only gripe is that when I was cleaning it (a job made easy and effective since they include a brush!) I managed to drop the removable tip onto a hard surface which unfortunately shattered it. Oxo however were really great - I contacted them asking for cost and availability of a replacement part (i.e. the tip I broke) and instead they sent me a whole new baster free of charge. Excellent customer service! I'm being more careful with this replacement and it's working perfectly. If you want a quality baster that actually does the job for a reasonable cost then I can really recommend this Oxo one and look forward to getting a long productive life from it.

Works great. So much better quality than most. Worth the extra cost. I LOVE OXO products!

*EDIT*: Of note I have not used this product for its intended use and have never used it with hot liquids, there are a lot of reviews that suggest this product does not work so well with hot liquids (like it is intended) so that would be a huge strike against this product but it is one I can neither confirm nor deny as I have only used it with room temperature liquids. I actually just bought this to help me with aquascaping. So I have been using it to move around, sludge, pruned plant bits, do targeted micro-water changes, and on occasion move really small live stock (I won't be doing that again for anything other than the baby clams, daphnia, rotifers, and worms, it was a bit too stressful and upsetting for all other small critters I subjected to this form of movement, but it did always physically get the job done with ease which is all to the credit of this baster.) It has never clogged during any of this abusive use on my part, and it has been perfectly happy to put up with me rinsing it out with: bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and rubbing alcohol to keep it sterile without degrading at all from this harsh treatment -- though I have been careful to keep the rubbing alcohol away from the bulb as rubbery substances are often a bit at risk for degrading when exposed to things like rubbing alcohol, so I have no idea if the bulb will tolerate rubbing alcohol. The angled tip is really useful for aiming, and the cleaning tool that it comes paired with is indeed a useful and appreciated touch.

Acquistato per pulizie particolari in acquario, specialmente quando si tratta di aspirare piccole particelle senza sconvolgere tutto quello che si trova intorno, svolge questa mansione egregiamente ed è anche molto facile da pulire
