NCD Medical Rainbow Quick Release Tourniquet

Lovely item and the patients love it

Painless application for patients. Does not twist or pinch skin unlike the disposable tourniquets. Easy to use, wrap around arm, close and pull to tighten. Once patient is being bled, release the tension using the slow release mechanism. Wipe between patient use using clinell wipe or similar. Routinely handwash using detergent and hot water, or wash in the washing machine. Good value for money.

I use this tourniquet all the time so much so I bought a second one! The clasp is easy to use it doesn't pinch the patients skin and is easily cleaned and washed. In total I have three tourniquets but prefer this one over the other brand as the clasp just seems more sturdy. An added bonus with it being rainbow and stripy is that I get comments from my patients all the time. Admittedly from an infection control point of view it doesn't beat the new disposable ones but they just don't seem as efficient for the job! I make sure I clean the tourniquet between every patient to ensure effect infection control procedures and then I merely bung it in the washing machine clasp together to ensure it doesn't break. Total recommendation for any health care professional.

Yes as described

Bought 3 of these for my wife. These were a bit expensive but have turned out to be cheaper and more reliable in the long run. The first one is still going strong after four months of use. The other 2 are still in their packaging. The cheap ones that we bought before would last a couple of weeks at most and also used to snap unpredictably. The rainbow colour is unlikely to get lost as easily as the standard blue coloured tourniquets.

Fab product, good release function my patient's love it

Amazing German quality product. You can see it , you can feel it. Worth every pound. Nice quick release mechanism, nice colors, easy and detachable lock. Only issue is how will it behave when i have to wash it at some point.

Very good tourniquet I needed a strong reliable tourniquet as I work out in the community and this is still going strong after 3 months of lots of use everyday. Would recommend to other phlebotomists and health care staff.

J'adore ce garrot qui ne fais pas mal au bras, comme c'est le cas pour le caoutchouc. Les couleurs sont vives et ne ternissent pas aux lavages. Nickel !!

Fácil de usar y de calidad visible. Muy cómodo para los pacientes ya que no da pellizcos como el que se proporciona en el trabajo.

All in all great product. Buckle is made of plastic and I think this will end up being the weak point. However, it is about 3x cheaper than this style of tourniquet with metal buckles (and replacement bands for said tourniquet are about 11 dollars), so it is still a good value. Very easy to use, very effective, and does not pinch patient skin or pull hair. These tourniquets are 10x better than disposable latex tourniquets found in IV start kits or "tear off the roll" style used in hospitals. Can be cleaned with standard wipes if not soiled - use bleach-based wipes if you get blood on it. Don't know how long it would last if used constantly e.g. paramedic or IV team, but will last a long time for more occasional use like hospital care.

Mi piace moltissimo. Colori vivaci così è anche facile da reperire... I pazienti dicono che è molto più tollerabile del classico laccio di lattice.

Je me demande si ce n'est pas le plus solide et performant que j'ai eu. En plus j'adore les couleurs vives du garrot. Je recommande vivement et je rachèterai sans hésiter si nécessaire
