This is the Router you want. Outstanding.
I have had many routers in my life, but this is THE router you want. Heavy feel to it. NOT cheap. Not only does it outperform my previous ones, but it arrived in the most professional, protective and beautiful packaging I have ever seen! The box even has beautiful graphics to it, opens like there is a crown jewel in there and contains all you need to get up and running along. I have a (4) fan cooler under it in the pictures (not included...buy that separately on Amazon if you would like). I had the normal amount of time setting it up. I did have some issues with getting the 10G port as my WAN, so I called the number supplied. The techs had me up and running in a little bit with some setting changes way down deep in the application dashboard. I am on fiber optic so maybe that had something to do with the setup on the 10G port. But once up and running, I was able to crank along at tethered/wired 756mps download and 966mps upload. Slower on PC Wi-Fi. But just as super-fast on Wi-Fi iPhone. NO dropouts in the month I have had it. NO problems in the month I have had it. Very happy. I have never spent this much on a router, but you only live once, and this is definitely worth it. I never thought much about the way a router looked but this one is very well thought out and pretty. Nice touch with the (2) USB ports, too. I have my router down low so not a big deal the ports are on the top side and top side back corner. If you plan on hanging it (I personally wouldn't...) to look at it the way the lights are, the ports would be on the topside, which can be a pain sometimes to get to. All the arms move really nicely for placement as you like. I could not be more impressed and pleased with this router. VERY NICE and very happy!!

WOW!! THIS SOLVED SO MUCH!!
I’ve had an Eero system in my 500sqft apartment for a few years. Even with an extender, I had network issues. Work calls were choppy. File transfer to my NAS was slow. Even streaming my video library to my TV was choppy or didn’t work. I was only getting half of the internet speeds I was paying for. I really thought I was going to have to upgrade my speed package, get a new smart TV and even upgrade my NAS. I decided to get a new router so I settled for this Asus GT-AX11000 Pro since it was on Black Friday sale. WOW. why didn’t I get this router sooner?! I’m getting ALL of the internet speed I’m paying for. I haven’t had a single work call drop. Files moved to my NAS have improved and I just watched one of my 4K videos that used to stutter from my NAS to my smart tv….not a single stutter or pause. This router upgrade saved me HUNDREDS of dollars I was about to drop on new equipment!! The mobile app is full of great features like wake on lan, so the router can wake up devices on the network. You can run a VPN server to connect your devices to your home network when you’re away from home AND you can even connect all devices or select devices to your VPN service of choice. I have several devices on my network running all their traffic through NordVPN with this router. The router has your standard parental controls, ability to block devices, has 3 networks that can be setup and you can even make a guest network with a captive portal designed with your words and images if you wanted to customize what guests see when they connect to your router. I’m completely blown away. One word of advice, this router is a BEAST and not just in performance but physical size. When I took it out of the box I gasped. It’s HUGE. So definitely make sure you have room for this router in your existing space as it’s easily the size of 2.5 Eero routers in desk space. 10/10 would recommend.

Best router i have owned! Speed/Quality/Ease!
I bought this router because i upgraded to fiber internet. I wanted a router that could really handle the 2.5 speed i wanted. This thing is a beast! The wired speed is perfect and the wireless coverage and speed are amazing! This unit is on the larger side though. This router comes with a great App that i use often. The app can scan for best optimal wireless channels, you can kick the kids off at night if you wish to, and make changes on the fly! I have a smart home, a gaming family, and more devices then i can count - and this thing holds up the entire network! Highly recommend ASUS!

Great buy!
Have had for about a year now and other than some bumps in the beginning I am now thrilled with it. When first installed I had about half of my smart devices not connecting. From what my brother told me it takes time to build up connectivity? So took a week before everything was connected. So give it time initially and you’ll have no connection issues. Haven’t had a single problem with it since. Currently have a gig plan with Greenlight and speeds are insane!

Solid Gaming Router with a Few Quirks
ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro: Solid Gaming Router with a Few Quirks I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro Tri-Band WiFi 6 Gaming Router for a while, and overall, it’s a fantastic performer with just a couple of things holding it back from a perfect score. What I Like: Top-Tier Performance: The WiFi speeds are outstanding, and coverage is impressive. Even in larger homes or through multiple walls, the signal remains strong and stable. I can stream, game, and work from anywhere in my house without dropouts or lag. Versatile Ports: With both 2.5G and 10G ports, this router is future-proofed for high-speed internet and offers flexibility for advanced setups. Security & Controls: The built-in AiProtection Pro and parental controls are robust, and I appreciate that network security updates are automatic and free. A Few Drawbacks: Bulky Design: This router is massive. It takes up a lot of space, and there’s no option for wall mounting, which could be an issue if you’re tight on room or want a cleaner setup. No WiFi 6E: While it’s an excellent WiFi 6 router, it doesn’t support the newer 6GHz band. If you’re looking to future-proof for WiFi 6E devices, you might want to consider other options. Setup Can Be Overwhelming: There are a ton of features, which is great, but it can be a bit much for someone who isn’t tech-savvy. The interface is packed with options, and it takes some time to get everything dialed in just right. Price: It’s definitely on the expensive side, so you’re paying a premium for the performance and features. Final Thoughts: If you’re a gamer or have a busy household with lots of connected devices, the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro is one of the best WiFi 6 routers you can buy. The performance and gaming enhancements are top-notch, and the coverage is superb. Just be prepared for the large footprint and a bit of a learning curve if you want to take full advantage of all its features.

Tri band means: 5.1, 5.1 and 2.4
Powerful. Much better signal to all my devices. I have almost 40 connected devices, and there are no more drop outs now. Management is straight forward with both app and web interface, although the web interface shows more options. Phones also seem to be much faster. My S22 shows I'm connected to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) even though the router says it does not support the newest 6e band. The 6 connection IS solid and fast. And since 6e is only useful when you're in the same room as the router, I don't see a huge need for it. Since it's tri band, I have my 4k TV's connected to one the 5.1 bands. All other google devices are connected to the second 5.1 band, and all the TP-Link devices are connected to the 2.4 band. I will be able to easily separate the 2.4 devices into a separate/isolated/secure network with this routers software. I have my computers and printer hardwired with the 4 available ports. I may hardwire 2 of the TV's later, but they seem to have plenty of bandwidth on wifi. Its nice to identify and rename Every device on my system! ChatGPT and seeing the MAC (with the router) made this a welcome chore. I have no reservations recommending this router. I'm using it a with Spectrum cable modem.

ASUS Tech Support is terrible
I never review products, but this one is a gem... I ordered this router 2 weeks ago. Setup was quick and easy and it was up and running in no time. I was enjoying the internet when all of a sudden, the internet cuts out. I go check out the router and it is off. The power switch is on and the app says it can't find the router. I try a different outlet, same thing. All breakers are on and the outlets work with other electronics. I try factory reset as suggested by ASUS, still nothing. They send you a little piece of paper that says to contact them before returning or doing anything else. SO, I contact them and tell them exactly what I just wrote. Seems like they understand and say they will be sending a new power cord to see if that works. 1 week later, I am curious and reach back out. I have a several hundred dollar router sitting here, not knowing if it is going to be fixed with a new power cord. Meanwhile the clock is ticking for me to be able to return a defective product. The tech says that they will elevate the product request and get it approved and send it right out. I am annoyed, but I think that this is the time they will get it right.... Another week later At this point I am FURIOUS, I could have returned it and bought a brand new one WAAAAYY before this power cord arrives (for a MAYBE solution). I reach back out, this time not so kindly. It never got pushed further than approval, whatever that means. So now I sit contemplating, should I just return the router and go with a different brand? I don't have much time left before Amazon won't accept a return. MORAL OF THE STORY; don't bother with support and just return it. It will save you a huge headache. OR just go with a different company. We will see if the power cord arrives before I have to return it. (Few weeks later) UPDATE: Never got the cord. Returned the router to Amazon (really easy!!) Bought a new router which is set to arrive today. How hard is it to send a replacement power cord? Seriously... just send it back.

Strong Performance aided by a strong antenna, massive coverage, massive speed
This is my review of the Asus AX11000 Pro router after using it for 7 days. I have owned Two Asus AX1800, TWO Asus ROG Rapture AX6000 and one Asus AX86U. My experience with Asus Routers has been profound and I have tried almost all of the top line Asus Routers till date. This was now my time to check out Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro and exhaust myself of Asus Router options. This is pretty clear that after using Asus Routers like a pro, I have owned this router with experience. Now, coming to my observations 1. The ROG RGB lighting is top class, and it surpasses the ROG lighting of the AX6000 router hands down. BUT, and there is a BIG BUT, the ROG lighting in Asus AX11000 Pro lacks a very significant feature. When the WAN connection goes down, the ROG lighting should be flashing RED (just like it does for Asus ROG AX6000). This functionality does not work in AX11000 Pro which is quite a dampener since the router RGB lighting should indicate that the WAN is down. 2. Why the missing functionality of Point# 1 is more prominent, the LED lights for WAN, LAN and WiFi are EXTREMELY INCONSPICUOUS and It takes a microscope to see those LED lights. These LED lights can only be viewed if you go 6 inches near the router and see the router top down. The LED lights are just not visible, and it is totally in opposite to how the Asus AX6000 flashes the LED. This is extremely poor in quality. 3. Coming to performance. Here the router shines like a bright star. I have a network scenario where the Asus AX11000 pro is facing a TRIPLE NAT scenario. but the Broadcom chip on the router is so powerful that in spite of triple NAT, there is no dip in the Internet download and upload speeds that the ISP provides in its own stock router. The 1 GB DDR4 RAM certainly helps and even with IPS and AiProtection ON, the memory utilization never crosses the 65% mark. 4. The Coverage is awesome. It can pierce brick walls , and in my case, it pierces 2 massive brick walls to give me an extremely stable internet connection. In fact the RSSI dips from -20 db to -60 db when it pierces 2 brick walls whereas low cost Asus routers dip by -80 db. Hence WiFi coverage is top notch and works extremely well in India where homes have solid brick walls inside the apartments. No router in Asus lineup can perform with such panache. The 10GBPS LAN port allows you to create a 2.5 GBPS network by normal Cat 6 cabling across the house. Heat management is good, and the cooling is through passive heat management. The router is silent all across the time. In essence, if you have the money and budget to buy an effective router with value for money in mind, buy the Asus ROG Rapture AX6000. But if you are in the market for a Tri-band WiFi router and budget is not an issue, blindly go for this router.

Imponente
