I bought this coffee for my french press and found it to be perfectly balanced with a incredible rich flavour.. I generally prefer coffees which don't have a very high percentage of Robusta beans (gets too bitter for me) and in my opinion the combination that they have got in this coffee is just right for those lazy Sunday mornings! The pack came in 2x250g packs so will be giving one pack as a present to a colleague. The packaging gives a authentic feel and so would make a good present too!

An Italian espresso roast - so it's strong and dark. Thankfully they've avoided that charcoal taste that hides all the more subtle flavours (I'm specifically referring to Lavazza Red and Percol Black here). There's a sweet nuttiness that supports a dark but detailed taste structure, which never comes across as burnt. A lovely voluminous crema with a surprisingly deep shade of brown. A very good Italian style roast.

Honestly, this is the worst coffee I've ever tasted. Really odd scent, very unpleasant, reminded me of a guy I used to work with who never washed his clothes. Also very poorly packaged, simply just wrapped in plastic, when I opened it, the coffee was compressed into a solid brick, I'm wondering if due to the poor packaging, it somehow became contaminated as it really did not smell or taste anything like you would expect coffee to. Took two sips from it, threw the rest away an immediately binned it. Absolute waste of money.

Not a coffee expert, but I have been looking for a good coffee which tastes well and is balanced (not too strong) so that I can drink without sugar. This is it.

I didn't really didn't know what to expect from this coffee but overall I'm a little disappointed. The aroma when you open the bag isn't at all enticing and the flavour is flat and harsh. If you want strong, functional coffee this definitely a contender but if you want something more flavourful, complex and aromatic steer clear.

Best coffee I have ever had, will order regularly. Have to try it, highly recommended!

I am enjoying this coffee a lot and will buy it again. It seems to have a hint of chocolate taste which is nice.

Goût plus que moyen, a la bialetti c'est vraiment mauvais, avis de plusieurs personnes invitées. Le café du magasin du coin est meilleur. Tarif trop cher pour ce que c'est.

I was looking for ground coffee for my Gaggia espresso maker, and bought this based on the description that says "best espresso for espresso makers". Be advised - this coffee is NOT ground nearly as fine as any quality espresso machine requires. It's ground for filter brewers. The coffee itself is ok, nothing special.
