Small Ball, Big Results — Versatile, Effective, and Built to Last
As a personal trainer with over 15 years of experience, I’m always looking for simple, effective tools that deliver results—and this ProBody Pilates Small Exercise Ball is one I’ve consistently come back to. I’ve actually had mine for years, and it still works great! This is a fantastic tool for improving core and glute strength and overall stability. I use it regularly in my own workouts and with clients of all fitness levels. For glute strength, one of my go-to exercises is an adductor bridge. Start lying on your back in a hooklying position (knees bent, feet flat), place the ball between your knees, and squeeze for 10 reps. Then keep that squeeze and perform 10 bridges. Repeat for 2–3 sets—simple, but very effective. For the lower abdominals, lie on your back with your legs in a tabletop position and the ball between your knees. Squeeze the ball for 10 reps, then add 10 heel taps to the floor while maintaining that squeeze. This really challenges the lower abs. A helpful tip: make sure your low back isn’t taking over—if you feel it engaging, just decrease your range of motion. Those are just a couple of examples—there are so many creative ways to use this nifty little tool. I also love the practical details: the bright color makes it easy to spot, the price point is very reasonable, and it’s simple to refill with a hand pump. The ball feels durable while still being comfortable to use. Another big plus is how great this is for my elderly clients. It’s lightweight, approachable, and easy to use. It is great to help increase adductor strength by squeezing the ball while seated for about 10 reps. We can also use the ball to challenge adductor strength by squeezing the ball while completing sit to stands. I also use it to help improve shoulder and thoracic spine range of motion. For the shoulder range of motion I have clients hold the ball while seated and reach overhead. For thoracic spine mobility I have clients hold the ball with two hands while seated and rotate side to side. Overall, this is an incredibly versatile, reliable, and user-friendly piece of equipment that I highly recommend. Whether you’re just starting out or more experienced, it’s a great addition to any routine.

No pump
Can’t use it as it didn’t come with the pump. Very disappointed as it wasn’t cheap

Great ball. It is just soft enough to compress where it needs to be. Looks durable.
