My wife will not let me wear red or orange, but when I ordered this HUGO #Grip Men's Ionic Plated Steel and Leather Strap Watch she thought it would be okay. When she saw it, and more importantly, once I put it on, she thought it looked great on me. And she thinks it's a great looking watch all around - because that orange gives it a great pop of color, but is by no means overwhelming or glaring. She loves it on me.For me, I love it. It's my third Hugo Boss watch and third I've loved - for quality, design, look, and feel. I have a small watch collection with a a number of name brand watches and my first Hugo Boss (HUGO) is the one I wear by far the most: again for quality, design, look, and feel. My second is a dressier watch that I do wear, but have less appropriate occasion (I find them because I like it). This HUGO #Grip Men's Ionic Plated Steel and Leather Strap Watch is going to quickly join that line up, moving ahead of some of my others for how often I pick it. I am so thrilled by the HUGO brand, I had to add this one and I am so glad I did.Like the others, this HUGO #Grip Men's Ionic Plated Steel and Leather Strap Watch arrived in the HUGO red box. A great presentation for receiving yourself or as a gift. Well wrapped inside, the watch is protected under all those plastic things so you know not only that it's new, but that it's arrived in the best possible condition. And upon opening, it looks great! We really had no idea if we'd love or hate the orange, but it's sharp - we love it. I've got middle age eyes, so I prefer a watch I can read even without my readers on and this one delivers. I can quickly and easily see the dial. For me, the other little dials are of no use, so I don't need to set them (again, the eyes), but on the face they look great, and for my needs, they do not get in the way or make reading difficult - many small dials can interfere with reading the time for my eyes, so it is something I watch for and choose a watch based on.The band looks and feels like a hybrid - some sort of combination of leather on the outside and what appears to be, but doesn't truly feel like a silicone inside. For all I know it is still the leather, but it seems... different. Whatever it is is comfortable and keeps my wrist dry. It feels great, it looks great, and it wears great. Overall this is a handsome watch and because it's HUGO and I have a great track record with them, I have every confidence this HUGO #Grip Men's Ionic Plated Steel and Leather Strap Watch is going to be a not just a keeper, but a well loved, well used watch over the years. I'm thrilled to have it.

This Hugo watch is sharp - the face is not too big and not too small. I also wear a Garmin Fenix 5x so it’s nice to wear a smaller size watch face for a change. The setting instructions are online, and setting the time etc was easy enough. The only complaint I can find is the band - it’s a bit stiff (I’m used to the sport band on my Garmin and this band is a lot stiffer and less flexible than I’m used to) which makes putting on/taking off a bit of a chore. Not a huge problem, I may get around to replacing the band at some point but for now it doesn’t bother me all that much.

Very nice dress watch or everyday watch. Dial is easy to see. Numbers are easy to see. Big face. Band is thick and strong. Secondary dials are interesting. Read the manual to use the secondary dials. Beautiful watch. Great value for your money.

The overall look and feel is very nice. The leather bands fit comfortably around the wrist. The time piece itself is light but is made of high-quality material.
