This works well. It was a little hard getting the bottom screws in. If you are installing a shower, be sure there is a board added and braced well in proper location, so it is a sturdy mount. Aaac Service heating and air recommend this bench.

Like that the chair is small and fits well in a small walk-in shower enclosure. Like also that it folds and is made of material that can take the water and humidity in the shower. Was easy to install. Strong enough chair to hold at least a 200 lb. person.

Worked as advertised

1. the instructions do not mention this: although some reviews state that the attachment brackets can be slid on the bar and attached to a wall "wherever" (like for hitting a wall stud), if you do not line up the brackets with the cut-out grooves on the backside of the wood seat (see photo) the seat will not be able to be folded up out of the way. bad design - brackets should be fixed in place if they can not be moved. i made this mistake and corrected it by rip saw angle cut-out (see picture). it works fine now. 2. some reviewers said that it isn't until you get the instructions that come with the product, the last item on the installation sheet states that you have to have a stone or concrete wall only for this and the buyers have sent the item back. the supplier of this item has liability reasons for this i am sure, but it is never mentioned in the product description before you order. i rigged up a plywood plate which rests on the back rim of the tub to help support my weight and then tacked the plate into the plastic tub enclosure. little extra work for me but highly functional now. much better than a 4-legged bulky shower chair.

The legs aren't far enough forward so they come down on the part.of my tub that is sloped. We ordered this while in the middle of a renovation and by the time we got to it to find out it didn't work we were out of the return window. Super pissed.to have paid so much and now have a completely unused chair that we can't use 😡

I weigh 280 & it holds me. Folds up nicely. I use it every day.

White version. My husband installed onto a hardwood backer board bolted into the back wall of shower enclosure. Works perfectly and very strong weight bearing wise. The seat is well made and and a good value.
