Pentair 320C Chemical Feeder
This is my first chemical feeder having always done it by hand. This unit has a "see through" compartment that holds several 3" chlorine tablets. Other reviewers have commented that this was a desirable feature and I tend to agree although I am sceptical of how well this is going to weather and stay "see through".This unit is well constructed with a easy to open top cover where the tablets get inserted. Standard arrangement woith a rubber "O" Ring to seal the cap to the chamber and silicone grease is supplied to keep the "O" Ring lubed. This has been installed and in service for a little over two weeks and seems to work well, keeping the chlorine level in the pool constant. I will make an addendum to this review after several months of use to update.Botton line;Same price as comparable units and has the "see through" design so you can easily tell when new chemiocal is to be added.Easy install. If you can work with plastic pipe and glue, this is a snap.Greta instruction manual.I would make this purchase again.

No More Chlorine Floats In The Pool!!!
I love this thing! So easy to install.I have a 38' x 16' rectangle pool. Almost 28,000 gallons. I had 3 floats with 4, 3" chlorine tablets in each to keep the chlorine level up last summer. BTW, I live in Hawaii.Installed this a few weeks ago and have been running pump 18 hrs a day.I have refilled the feeder 3 times with 5 tablets. Eats them up about 1 per day.Chlorine has been kept very stable. Love it!! No floats in pool!!Had to run flow line to the top of feeder so the water runs over the tablets and turn the valve down to 3. Might even have to go lower.Got an old set of tongs to load the tablets. Much easier. The amber chamber is awesome. You can see when you need to put more tablets in and if the water is getting in there, or not. Trying to make the water come in from the bottom seems illogical to me.

very low levels of chlorine
I have an above ground pool, about 11,000 gallons. 2 speed pump, cartridge filter. Reviews seemed great so I bought this in spring, installed in May. The top is so easy to open by hand compared to my old one which would get so stuck that I broke it trying to open it. I love that it's clear/light yellow so you can always easily see the number of tabs in it. At first it seemed to work okay. There was usually a few inches of water. But I wasn't getting enough chlorine in the pool so I adjusted the knob to the highest level to see if the water level would change. It never seemed to move. Sometimes I'd go out there and the knob would be open to highest level but there'd be almost NO water in it. Whenever I turn my pump on high speed for vacuuming, it would fill up completely with water. But the level would drop again to almost nothing at low speed. I can't run my pump on high all the time, that would defeat the purpose of having a 2 speed pump. I can never maintain a normal chlorine level and my pool has turned green because of it. Until I can get this thing to work, I'm giving it one star. I'm guessing it can't be returned once installed.

8 month review
Wanted to wait a little while and after 8 months wanted to give this product a review.First of all the yellowish/lime green see through glass is a good feature but you haveto be very close or right on top of it to determine how empty or full it is. The topin my previous unit was difficult to open but it was 3+ years old. So far the top iseasy to open and close and doesn't leak. Pool guy said was ez to install. When full of 3intabs distributing at full strength lasts for 3 week and I run my pool system 24x7during hot weather season which is 9 months a year here. I've also used littlebromine granules and while effective the dont last as long as the 3in tabs.I cannot address the long term quality of this unit but so far after 8 monthseverything is working seemlessly so I would recommend this unit. My pool is30K gallons and in additon to the automatic chlorinator I shock the pool oncea month because we also get alot of rain. Unit arrived in 5 days and was packedvery well and was in perfect working order. Came with a few duplicate partswhich have been stored for future use if needed.

Good Quality
This is my second item I have used. The sun and chlorine causes the clear material to get opaque and you can no longer see the level of the chlorine tablets inside. I had the first one 7 years and it was still working, just couldn't see through it anymore. It does a great job automating your chlorine task.
