I like my mine,but when buying if you are new to this item make sure you pay attention to the generation. I purchased the 3rd generation instead of the first generation. its heavier and harder to get started. I finally got it going. overall happy withmy purchase.

It's really fun once you get it going and can keep it going. It stops here in there like it's not getting momentum and I am doing it correctly. My daughter has one and tried mine and she has same issue w. Mine. The rep counter or weighted ball seems to weigh down from the hula causing it to not have a full continuous spin for too long. It like hits a snag or bump mid spin and stops and there's nothing you can do to keep it going but whip it around and start over. It's louder than my daughters but I've decided to keep it just because it will be 3xs that I've had to return a hula plus I like the counter which is really needed for accuracy due to the constant snag when hula hooping. It’s perfect and looks just as it shown but it’s a bit hard to learn how to use it lol but also make sure you look at the size you get because mine just just a bit to small

I wish the length the ball is from the hoop was adjustable. It's a bit too close so it's difficult to keep it going. It also seems to catch easily between the links and doesn't slide around as easily as it should from what I've read/seen.

Very good quality but it’s a tad bit hard to get the hang of. I’m not sure if I put it together wrong (I doubt it) but it doesn’t keep spinning. Maybe it’s a user error but I’m definitely gonna keep trying it out.

I watched all the how to videos and im doing all the things right but i can NOT make this thing spin. Might still be user error, im not ready to give up. Came packaged well, seems to be good quality, but it does not spin.

I will definitely update in a couple of weeks, but this has been the experience so farCons:-First time I used it all the pieces came a part and flew out in some kind of cursed circle of power that caused all of the cats to run away from me.-NOT a quiet way to workout. Kids will not sleep through you using this bad boy.-If you were always unsuccessful using hula hoops as a child (me), it'll take a little bit to figure out.Pros:-Easy to put together, and re-together after cursed circle incident.-Lots of videos available to offer tips how to get this thing moving. Took me about 15 minutes of stops and starts to get going.-Feeling the burn. I lasted for about 20 minutes. Lots of sweating. Could definitely feel it in my abs.Updates to Follow

The media could not be loaded.  I have to say with all the TikTok fame this device has received I was a bit skeptical to get it but it is actually a fun way to get a 30 minute workout in. I recently had gallbladder surgery so I had to wait sometime to be able to use it but when I did the links did not bother my incision sites. I will say it is very hard to get the rhythm of it going so it’s a constant swing but even with just trying my core felt like I had done over 100 crunches. My 56 year old mother used it while I couldn’t and the most she was able to do was 954 spins and she is down 3 links already. She has become quite an expert with this hoop. I recommend this for those who can’t stay motivated with regular workouts. I use to do dance workouts but my knees couldn’t take it so this is the best alternative, I can listen to my music or watch tv and get a good workout in.

After 2 months it broke. Please note it is not that durable for long term use, to say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
