***Long term review***I’ve had these batteries and charger for just under a year. I bought them primarily to use in my Xbox controllers as I play a lot. This has resulted in me trying every single battery on the market over the years, including the rechargeable packs.None of them even came close to these Eneloops! Even with heavy gaming use including a headset plugged into the controller they last a week easily.I have used them in multiple different things such as LED lights, Christmas lights, controllers etc and they constantly outperform the other “big name” batteries by a large margin!I have over 300 hours of use on these batteries now and they still perform like they did the day I got them! Zero battery degradation.The charger is fantastic, charging both AA and AAA batteries. The LED light shows you the state of charge. If you forget to plug it out it will auto cut off the charge once the batteries are fully charged to avoid degradation, this is a great feature.The charging is also extremely fast, although you can get Eneloops “fast” charger and batteries, they have a lower capacity so these are by far the best to buy. From completely dead to full charged in less than an hour.They are worth every penny! Simply the best on the market without question a 10/10 product.If you need rechargeable batteries, these are the ones to buy!

Banana for scale.Never mind play and charge kits. These are the single best option for Xbox controllers. They last so long. Work perfectly, charge very quick and then last for days. Very easy to use

Using them to my Xbox pad and need to say that even if I play on headphones plugged into the pad, still goes around a week! Charging ultra fast, half hour from drained batteries, really good quality and performance for my needs.

The eneloop SmartPlus Charger works well, charging 1–4 AA/AAA batteries in about 1–2 hours. The LED traffic light system is clear, and I usually remove the batteries when it turns green to preserve battery health, though the overcharge protection lets you leave them in. The included eneloop AA batteries are excellent, holding charge well in devices like clocks, gamepads, and sensors.A quick note: the batteries arrive pre-charged and ready to use, but I charged them just for peace of mind which took maybe 5 minutes before it turns green.The charger is compact with an attached UK plug, though storing it isn’t as easy because of the plug. At nearly £26 right now, it’s a bit expensive for a charger and 4 AA batteries, (you can certainly find something cheaper from your local supermarket) but the quality justifies the investment for long-term use.I have also bought some AAA eneloop batteries on the side for other uses, which they can also be charged with this same charger.

I bought this charger because it was highly rated by Which? and because of its versatility. It has four slots, each of which can take a AA or AAA battery. Each slot works independently, meaning you can charge a single battery, if you need to. Each charging slot has a coloured light to indicate the level to which the battery has been charged. The light goes off once the battery is fully charged, and the charger stops charging. The charger is reasonably compact, it fits a UK style 3 pin electric socket, and has a minimalist design that doesn’t attract attention.

These outperform any other brands i have tried, so they come recommended by me. using in camera and audio equipement.

Really like how the product looks, the charger is well designed with a host of features to enable you to charge your batteries successfully, it has the capability to charge different size batteries, which is helpful.

The charging is fairly quick. The function od detect end of life battery is particularly useful.
