Shorter than typical files, great quality
If you're looking for the full width, full length you see in the salon or stores, these will fall short. I bought 2 packages from 2 different companies. These were the better quality. Labeled 120 & 180 grit, I'm not sure if that's accurate but here's what I can say. They're medium -- not too course, not too fine.If you're looking to skip getting fills and need to cut down the bulky acrylic or gels and do your own fills, these will work LATER in the job if your nails are thick or built-up. They will take too long if you try to use them to minimize thick bulk. However, once you have the bulk down using another file (I used a package of Makarrt files which would probably take paint off a car) then use these for refining, shaping & smoothing. They will also be good & safe around cuticles whereas the above mentioned brand can cut cuticles.Overall a great choice for medium grit files. I think you will find these a nice addition to your nail stash to use in conjuction with your more course grit (if you need serious minimizing of bulk) and fine grit files. Will also work great with natural nails. Would not recommend for very brittle nails as you may want a finer file.

Fantastic Files, Cuticle Oils & Serums
Every product from this company is of excellent quality and function. The files are perfect for nails that tend to peel or break or those that need the correct strength that will not damage nails. Their cuticle oil is perfect to help, especially in this cold weather. Even my cosmetologist has changed to use their products. Thank you!!

I Find the Smaller Size Easier to Work With
I find these emery boards from ONSEN to be one of the better ones I've used for filing and shaping my natural nails. They don't tear at my nails, causing me rough edges. The grits, 120 beige sides, and 180 blue sides are ideal for giving me a clean smooth shape quickly. They also seem to be lasting a good amount of time so I find them to be a good value. However, there were ONLY SIX boards in the box, NOT TEN as stated on the front of the box. They are markedly shorter and a bit less wide than a typical emery board, but I believe this is an intentional design element that has benefits. What I noticed about my typically sized larger emery boards is that with use, the ends were never really worn out or used as much as the center part. With these smaller emery boards from ONSEN, I'm using the whole board and it's easier to shape my nails using uninterrupted, shorter, one-directional passes.I posted some photos to give you a better idea of the size and hope that they help you out a bit with your choice. Thank you!

Good quality
Great files at a great price. I like that one side is a bit as rough on my nails. The whit side gets those stubborn broken edges smoothed out and the colored side smooths gently.

Be Consistent!
This year I committed to spend quality time and education to revive health to my endangered hands and nails. With visible arthritic joints and especially in hands, routine, products and dedication have paid dividends in 6 months...not overnight. I did no dramatic journalist documentation. Just changed my care. To include Onsen nail products. I began with 3 pieces: cuticle cream, nail oil and nail buffer. Expanded to nail files (100% value). I decided NOT to set any timeline because I didn't want to be unrealistic and get discouraged (and give up!). I chose evening before bed. @ 6 months I feel I have recovered at a minimum 75% of my own personal goal. Most successful: cuticles. Which has led to a healing of nail bed and color. Ridges have not entirely disappeared but careful buffing evens out appearance. Growth length is minimal but consistent because I keep growth to ends of nail...but with shaping no biggie. Splits were a big issue. Again, buffing and filing along with close watch on how I physically used my hands (daily). Keeping the splits in the check before they get beyond help. My hardest habit to embrace? ROUTINELY wear gloves when dishwashing, bleach or scouring. 400 count on hand so no excuses...second nature after 6 months...Less expensive products are available. I had to start somewhere and chose Onsen. Personally speaking, I think if consistent care with most OTC nail care is possible in as far as your health allows and we don't expect "miracles" from any one product. Sometimes a blend of several ....it's all about the consistency?

Strong construction
The sticks lasted longer than I thought they would. Thicker than run of the mill emery boards for a more firm hold. Despite better material and size, they performed no better than typical, cheaper ones. I recommend purchasing because of quality of product, not performance.

You got to have these
I have used numerous nail files and they don’t last that long. These nail files are awesome. They’re gonna last a long time. They do a great job of filing. I can’t speak more highly of them. They’re well worth the money.

Sehr gute Nagelfeilen
