Nerf N-Strike (Wii)

Its a good simple game for under 10's. The game offers a lot of real and "future" Nerf guns which the kids enjoy picking out, and the gameplay is guided so that the controls aren't too confusing and easy to follow. I.e. you go where you point the gun and there isn't a normal forward back side to side control interface. The best part is that they get to use a real Nerf gun to play on the Wii, which absolutely amazed the boys. The ability to convert a Nerf Gun into a controller, and then back again was the icing on the cake. Definitely a good purchase.

Bought for a grandson, this came with soft darts that load into the gun. There were soon damages as the ends fell off or got lost and were a waste of money. However, the NERF gun itself, loads the Wii controller and then it can be used in the included NERF Game, which was about shooting at warehouse parts moving on a conveyor. Accuracy was good but the challenge soon became tiring and though there are many higher screns to progress to, boredon set in and another Wii game (multi sports) soon took over and stayed the pace. Overall, the NERF Game was not worth the money even though I got it for around £20, which was much less than the high St. price - well done Amazon on that point! I personally thought the game software was basic and looked like an early BBC Micro game I had many years ago! The graphics were also basic so I was not that impressed. It's too complex for kids of 5-6 and really would be better for 11-12 year olds if they don't get bored shooting at stupid objects!

The toy gun was an instant hit with my son and he loves it, but the game itself is far too complicated to set up in Multiplayer mode. Surely a game like this is really designed to be played with your friends? It would also have been nice to play the scenario modes with more than one player and for that reason we haven't really played the scenario through. We got the game at a good price, so I'd say it's worth the money even if it is for the toy gun and a bit of fun with the game itself.

My little boy loves Nerf guns but this game is abit old and he struggled to get to grips with it. My 14 year old managed fine but found the 'old' graphics hilarious. Plays fine and arrived in good condition though! :)

Arrived before Christmas which I was pleased with, but even though it was described as the Amazon description, it had no gun. All these games are second hand now, so I feel that they ALL should be described as with or without gun.I could have bought one for less money

I would stick to just playing with Nerf guns around the house. There is something more satisfying in firing the darts for real, although not in picking them up! My boys lost interest very quickly... i think they played it twice! After a while it becomes predictable!

Bought for my 6 year old son who loves it. Unfortunately older son also likes it, especially the gun that he can use his siblings as target practice for. All-in-all the game is a success and the gun is great but be prepared to confiscate it!

I bought this at the last minute as a stocking filler for my 6 year old grandson who loves it you can use the gun to interact with the Wii game and also play with the gun seperate the darts are soft so up to now no damage done.Would recommend it as it is a very good game and made my grandson very happy christmas morning he loves playing this game. The delivery was very fast as i ordered very last minute just a couple of days before christmas and as promised was delivered on time. Thank you to Amazon
