I'll keep this review rather brief, as my key takeaway here is the most important... This is a solid and powerful tool that hammers very well, splits and breaks everything I've put it up against, and hasn't failed yet. For the price, it's been a fantastic value for me, and paid itself off multiple times compared to renting something from the local rental center. The hammer is a good overall size to use while standing up. The front handle is a bit floppy, but that hasn't really slowed me down, as I'm generally not bending down to use this. It does vibrate a good bit, naturally, but that's to be expected. I don't find the vibrations exhausting, and - while it doesn't necessarily have the cushioning tech that a new Hilti does, it seems to hit just as hard and costs a fraction of the price. I grabbed the set with a few different bits of different purpose, and they've all held up wonderfully. The bits are roughly 1" diameter and nice and heavy. The hammer itself is about 50 pounds (I think?), so it's "heavy", but not cumbersome. Altogether, I'm really impressed by this tool. It's performed great, its size makes it very versatile for a variety of breaking and chipping, and it's a great value for what it can do. Two thumbs up.

This thing has WAY exceeded expectations l. Started out using it for some rough large holes for planting trees creekside. Very clay based dirt and rocky and it worked really well. The true test has been installing cedar log posts for cattle fencing along the perimeter of the property with rocks and bedrock galore. We have a large tractor with an auger for most of the post hole digging but it can’t complete with big rocks or bedrock and that’s where this thing comes in. Chopped up a 7 inch thick slab of bedrock into chunks we were able to pull out to keep using the auger and went through compacted, hard clay like butter. This thing is probably one of the absolute best purchases I’ve made. If you are thinking about it, buy it! It is SO worth it.

For medium duty work this jack gets it done. It handled my demo with ease. I've used it over the course of summer on some really hot days and it just kept going. I'd recommend

Bought this to remove mortar from an install of flagstones on a walkway. At the price it was more economical to buy than to rent one for two or three days. So far I’ve only used the broad chisel bit. The machine has performed flawlessly. The manual says it comes with the reservoir for the oil 1/2 filled, which was not the case for me. Not a big deal, since I’d ordered some extra and I refilled the reservoir after about 8 hours of use. The manual states to make sure you don’t put more than 1/2 of the reservoir. I deducted 1 star because the front handle of the device is an annoyance. For me it would not stay in place while using the hammer, constantly sliding to the top and beyond (for my work having the handle at the side was most comfortable). I tried adding a rubber gasket strip under the ring, but that made the slippage even worse. I ended up tapping a screw hole in the ring of the handle and drilling a shallow hole in two places of the body. I then inserted a set screw with some locktite to keep the vibration from loosening it. Worked like a charm. The chisel bit held up well. I sharpened it after two days of heavy use, more to ease the work than because I figured it really needed it. I was pleasantly surprised by the shovel bit. It’s heavy and feels substantial. My backyard is like a mini stone quarry. Whenever I dig I need a breaker bar and sometimes even that isn’t enough if I hit stones that are too large. Next time I have to dig I can now use the shovel bit of this hammer to losen the soil and the pointy ones to part any large stones. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

I have been wanting to install at least one sump pump in my old basement for several years now. Whenever we get really consistent heavy rain or quick snow melt water runs in there like a river and out a sewer drain that is no longer up to code in the village (however most homes have them). My dilemma has always been breaking through the concrete and stone and digging the pit. Well, this certainly solved that issue and for a really good price. It worked perfectly, breaking up the concrete. At 73 years old, I finally installed two sump pumps and my problems are solved thanks to this jackhammer.

The stars aren't working. I give the Jack Hammer a 5+ The unit is heavy which meant for me I felt very little kick back, hammering on my hands. You can see videos of busting up concrete. I was using the Jack Hammer to take out two small trees that had maybe 40 years of growth. The landscapers were going to charge a mint to remove them. The shovel broke up some very hard dirt. We used the spade to cut roots. One we had the tree gone, the Jack Hammer was great at busting up dirt to clean out the roots. Home Depot had several units in this power range for rent from a low of $180 up through $250. I cannot speak for the durability of the motor, but I can say this unit is built like a tank. The implements to break stuff up are stout, heavy, solid. Connecting / changing implements is simple. The case is as solid as the Jack Hammer. I'm glad they put some wheels on the case because dragging it is a lot easier than carrying it. The one maintenance thing that I have no experience with yet is the oil. I will check it each time I use it. I think that is the one way one might ruin it . . . run it out of oil and use it dry.

Man this was the best 👌 way to go. The jack cut through 4" slab of concrete in my garage floor like it was butter. I am so glad i chose this jack hammer. So worth it. Thanks

I live in the Texas hill country and my yard is nothing but red clay and rock with a little bit of normal soil. I used this jackhammer to dig a hole to plant a new little tree and I could not have done it without this tool. I also got the shovel bit which was invaluable on my project. I’ve also used it to chip concrete off the side of a brand new slab and side walk. I’m 69 years old and have no problem moving it around.

This hammer is awesome! Cost less than three days rental from hardware store. Worked perfectly out of the box. Items to note: 1, Instructions/manuals are laughably short. Watch a few streaming videos to get better familiarity with hammer. 2, Get some V46 hydraulic oil BEFORE you use the hammer to reasonably reach a safe level. 3, Stand hammer on chisel receiver for a few minutes to read oil level (half way in oil window is good). 4, Pay attention to abient heat and hammer heat. If using the hammer in extreme situations over 35°C, 90°F use a 50/50 duty cycle. 5, Ergonomics are excellent, hammer is moderately heavy, but if you let its own weight do the work it's very efficient and relatively easy to move. It balances perfectly on rotating handle. You will need both hands on hammer fastest breaking. Hammer is excellent quality at a very reasonable price. I easily broke a 20cm/8 in 10sqm/120 sqft pad in 6 hrs 50% duty cycle. Tips showed very little wear. Highly recommend! I will be modifying one of the available tips to make a sand point well pipe driver.
