Nice simple desk that's aesthetic
This desk was an absolute great addition to our office space. It looks exactly as pictures and is able to be assembled two different ways. I would say it took about an hour to assemble with help and the directions were fairly easy to read. When it comes to the final assembly of the two pieces it can be tricky getting them to line up, but with some readjusting and trouble shooting it all came together nicely. I do particularly like that there are two drawers, one for filing and one with a lock, also that there are built in outlets for convenient charging.

Very good desk!
Iโve heard people complain about unaligned holes so that made me the most nervous but I did not run into a single problem. Setup is tedious but very doable with the straightforward instruction manual included. It is a lot of putting things in position and tightening screws but that would be the same with almost every other desk of this sort. Overall I highly recommend this desk. I have enough room to be comfortable while I code and play pc games and thatโs what matters to me most and I put a 43โ tv on it and still have room for other things. Not to mention the raised monitor stand really helps with posture and the drawers couldnโt be any more smooth while opening and closing. The lock is only for top drawer and itโs pretty neat. 9 out of 10 stars.

Great sturdy desk with lots of space for working from home, a little hard to assemble but doable
(Pardon the mess and boxes in the photos, they were taken when I first put it together and I'd recently moved in. Also, the matching wood side table thing on the right with the black lamp on it was my own, it just happened to match the desk really well!)BACKGROUND: 25 YO woman, not super strong. I'd just moved to a new apartment in a new state and needed a new, preferably larger desk than my old one (left behind). I work from home as a copywriter, so I'm at my desk for most of the day.I've been using this desk for about 4.5 months and it's held up really well for daily use working from home. The assembly was a bit tricky, but it'd be much easier with two people.Pros:- The desk is quite sturdy- I love the electrical plug-ins (the cord is fairly long, but I'd double check the outlet you'll use early on, since the desk is heavy to move)- LOTS of space -- under the monitor stand, on top of it (I use a laptop), above the drawers, and overall great sizeComplaints:- A couple of steps in the assembly are tricky (elaborated more below, with some tips I learned)- The drawers can be a little difficult to open. You have to jam out the top drawer because of the lock mechanism and the bottom file drawer often hits some of the plastic file label holders sticking up.- You can't FULLY pull the file drawer out, so there's a few inches of space in the back that's either unused or you have to cram your fingers in there to pull all the files forward.ASSEMBLY:Do I need a helper? - For some parts, I'd say yes. I put it together mostly alone with a bit of help from my roommate (also female, slightly stronger than me lol) for holding large parts to screw in. The instructions say you need a helper, and there are definitely steps that require one unless you can MacGyver a solution yourself. Is it difficult to assemble for beginners? - I've put together basic furniture before, but this is the most elaborate so far and I managed. I did end up drilling unnecessary holes in the drawers b/c I misread the drawer slide instructions, but I fixed that mistake. (NO DRILLING NECESSARY)Best method? - My method is to organize the pieces numerically and/or alphabetically first. The large pieces ("parts") have numerical stickers and the small pieces/tools ("hardware") have alphabetical stickers. Only one numerical sticker came off a piece in its plastic bag, but that was the only one and I noticed it right away. Just be sure all of them have their stickers on them before you start assembling. There are two installation methods (one with the drawers on the left and plug/monitor riser on the right, and the other vice versa). The first 12ish steps are the same, then the remaining ones differ.Trickiest Parts? - The trickiest parts for me were putting the drawers together, in:1) Making sure the grooves line up perfectly to screw the pieces together (Steps 5, 6, 8 & 10 in both installation methods)2) Making sure the correct metal drawer slides are on the correct wooden piece and the correct SIDE of that piece. (Steps 2, 9, and 11 on both Installation Methods) -- TIP: Pay attention to the little hole placements on the wooden piece graphics and the etched letters (CR, CL, DR, or DL) on the metal sliders and corresponding graphics.Overall, I'm quite happy with the sturdiness, durability, feel, and functionality of the desk.QUICK NOTE: You may want to add padding to the corners for baby-proofing; they're not cutting-type sharp, but they're not fully rounded.

File holder is not great
I like everything about this desk except the file holder. It looks amazing, was easy to assemble by myself, and feels fairly durable. It holds my laptop and 2 monitors as well as all peripherals without showing any signs of being overloaded. The only issue I have is that the filing drawer had 2 little bars in it that popped out fairly easily and would not go back in unless I took the whole drawer apart.

Mixed Feelings
Overall, it's not a bad desk, but it's not a great desk. It gets the job done and looks nice doing it.Pros- Offers enough desk space- Once assembled the desk is very studyCons- Was an absolute nightmare to assemble. The box is extremely heavy, and you are not going to have fun trying to move it alone and getting it up a flight of stairs requires a minimum of two people. Following the instructions to the letter doesn't help, as sometimes parts of the desk will just refuse to line up and you just must take the time to play around with the screws until you get it positioned exactly right.- 1 person assembly time was about 4-6 hours- While the desk it's self if sturdy, some of the parts of the desk like filling cabinet use a strange screw in attachment I've not seen before that like to work itself loose so the front of the filing cabinet drawer will sometime partially disconnect from the rest of the drawer.

Pleasantly surprised
Ok, so I was wary of getting this desk based on the reviews about difficult or impossible construction, but I'm pretty savvy with a drill so I decided if parts didn't fit I could make them. ๐First thing I noticed while taking things out of the box... It was packaged really well. So well that the desk tops even had little plastic corner protectors to keep them from being damaged. Literally none of the pieces had any kind of damage. I was impressed. The first step though, building the drawer cabinet, I ran into my first hiccup. The rails, when attached as indicated, don't look like the picture in the instructions - the front edge sticks out about 1/8" further than the edge of the wood. I decided to let it go though, and it ended up working out fine, but I didn't think it would at first.I also figured out why part 31, the infamous rod that doesn't line up, causes people so many problems. The "short" and "long" ends are only 2-1/2" different from one another. Most people simply cannot tell which end is which without measuring, and I think that's why people are getting to the end and finding out it doesn't line up - they just have #31 flipped. Just be extra careful on that step and it should come out fine. The only other issue I had was gaps between the top panels. By that time, I had spent 5 hours on this desk and my back was killing me, so no way was I going to loosen all my screws again to adjust. My advice is to place all your top pieces down together with the pegs before you screw them all to the frame. All in all, this thing feels really sturdy, secure, and looks great, but it did take a significant amount of time and effort to do it alone. Definitely put it together with another person if you can.

Great Desk and Excellent Customer Service!!!!
The desk itself when put together is excellent for my needs. Fits beautifully in the corner with the L shape. 2 options of how you put it together is pretty cool too. Half way through putting it together I noticed one of the metal cross braces had a broken weld. The piece was pretty essential to the desk's stability. I emailed customer service, which their email is included on the instructions, and let them know of the broken piece. I was expecting them to hopefully just send the replacement piece. However, they stated that particular piece couldn't be shipped separately from the warehouse, so THEY SENT ME A WHOLE NEW DESK!! I didn't even need to return the other desk. I feel bad they had to send a whole new desk and not just the one piece, but truly appreciate how awesome that kind of customer service is! Instructions are very clear, and easy to put together, although it does take some time to get it all put together. Highly recommend this company and their product.

Not "interchangeable" and needs extra help to assemble.
Things I wish I had known before purchasing this:-This requires TWO people for assembling.-It is NOT interchangeable. You can choose 1 of 2 options on how to assemble the desk and once you've done it you're committed unless you take it all apart and build it again, which isn't simple.-Directions are clear but require plenty of time to put together. Pay close attention to details. It's not a simple build. All of the parts were packaged well and came in pristine condition despite the box having some damage. It was after I had emptied the 75lbs of contents that I reached the manual and read that this build requires two people. They're not kidding. A lot of things say that and its not necessary. This is not one of those times. But it was too late for me. I wasn't shoving all that crap back in a box and hauling it downstairs again, so on I went.(Note how every review on here that says this was a quick and easy build had a drill.)Flying solo and using only the tools provided, it took me 3-4 hours to assemble this desk. A lot of things didn't line up well, half of the holes are almost non-existent, and I had to do a lot of manuevering and tightening and loosening this and that at certain times to get things to fit- all using their little key wrench. It was an absolute pain, but I managed, and the desk itself is fairly good quality.I'm a little frustrated with the quality at which it came together, most of it didn't line up quite like it should but it's functional. The wood slabs are heavy and thick, not the cheap light ones I thought they would be.For context, I am a renter and have to move every so often. My hope was to find a lighter, interchangeable corner desk with storage that I could put together and easily move by myself. This desk isn't light, it wasn't easy to assemble, and it is not easily changeable as they suggest in the advertisements. So it's not what I wanted. But all of that aside, it does seem to be a fairly good quality desk, the wood slabs are heavy and appear sturdy so far, the electric plug in on the side is very helpful, and I like that this desk has some storage built in. For less than $150, it was a good deal.
