Lovely looking heron.
Heron is a lovely colour and size but whether it will stop a real heron from getting my fish remains to be a seen. On a negative side the stake is white & very obvious so I shall be spray painting it as soon as I can. Would have blended in better if grey like the legs.

Realistic defence against Herons
We've had a Herron visit our small pond this summer and it's taken a few of the younger fish (probably 4) so a deterrent was the best way to go. This one is up to the job being sturdy and colourful but light weight, I've boted it down to a broken paving slag and it won't be going far now when the wind get's up.
