This pack of 3 boxes of suppositories is good value and offer a simple aid to a common problem. These are meant for occasional constipation of a certain type (of which there are many). If the train has backed up for days you probably need a stimulant, and if it's a chronic problem then your first stop should be to a GP for advice about regular intervention. But if on occasion the train has made a slow crawl to the station but will not allow passengers to disembark, these bullet shaped wonders are here to help. The glycerine does 2 things. It softens the offending blockage and also causes a bit of spasm in the rectum. This usually is enough to get things going. Tips: I see from the reviews that people are having trouble dealing with the suppositories. The blister packaging is a nightmare, but it's the same no matter what brand you buy. This is to ensure the glycerine doesn't become affected by moisture which will render them void, so just keep a pair of scissor nearby to cut them open. They need to be moistened to aid insertion so just run the tap and hold it under for a bit. One tip that really helps hold the thing because it gets slippy is to buy some latex or nitrile gloves because they really help get a grip of the little devil and keeps your fingers clean. These can then be easily be disposed of in the waste. Hold on to the suppository as long as you can in situ can you feel there's about to be an earthquake. Be sure you're near a toilet. If you really have troubles getting it in, you can lie down on your left side and try it that way rather than sitting on the loo. Whatever you do, don't use these at bedtime or you'll regret it. Best time is first thing in the morning to get a roaring start on the day. Do they work? Yes. For the right kind of constipation. Do your research and follow my tips and you'll be right as rain in no time.

Its like hardened jelly. I would say use gloves and wet your finger a bit. I dont know if i was about to poo already but it worked within 5mins! Recommended 🙌🏼
