A great consistent cording
I try to always purchase the Noanta cording. I have never had a problem with it, knots, fraying or color fading. The colors are true and consistent.

NOANTA 4mm macrame cord 109 yards
NOANTA Macrame Cord 4mm. 109 yards is a great cord to use for hanging flower pot holders and wall hangings. The 109 yards is not really enough to do a larger project as far as I can tell. It work for me well because I don't usually do projects that require more than it supplies. The color is true to the photos and goes well with my sage green carpet and decor in my sewing room.

Strong, Soft & Durable — Made My Prosperity Hens Look Professionally Finished
I’m making prosperity hens for our farmstand, and initially I had them strung on regular twine. It worked, but it just didn’t look as professional or finished as I wanted. I also worried that the twine could eventually snap if someone tugged on the hanging. After doing some research, I found this NOANTA 4mm macrame cord, and the timing couldn’t have been better. The package arrived the day before yesterday, just in time for me to restring the hens before our farmstand’s opening day today! What a difference. I used the cord to string five handmade hens along with hand-painted wooden beads, hanging rings at the top and bottom, and bells. The finished piece looks so much more pulled together and intentional. Durability: This cord is VERY strong. I can tug on the finished hanging without feeling like the cord is going to snap. That was probably my biggest concern with using twine, and this completely solved it. Thickness: I was actually a little shocked by the 4mm diameter when I first saw it and wondered how in the world I was going to thread it through my stuffed hens! I figured out a method that worked beautifully: I made a tiny snip in each hen, inserted a chopstick first to gently create a pathway, and then used a large needle to pull the cord through. Worked perfectly. Softness: Even though it is substantial and strong, it has a really nice softness to it. It doesn’t feel rough or scratchy like the twine I had been using. Versatility & suitability: I chose the neutral/natural color because it works wonderfully with all the different fabrics in my hens, but there are so many beautiful colors available that I already have ideas for others. Now I’m wondering what crochet projects I could use this cord for too! Quantity/value: The 109-yard roll gives me plenty to work with, especially for projects like these where each finished piece only requires a relatively small amount of cord. Living in a rural area, our local choices for specialty craft supplies are VERY limited. Amazon really opens up possibilities for the handmade items we can create for our farmstand, and finding supplies like this makes a big difference. MOST HELPFUL TIP: If you want to thread this 4mm cord through stuffed fabric pieces like I did, don’t try to force it through with a regular sewing needle. Make a small opening, use a chopstick to create the pathway first, and use a large-eye needle to pull the cord through. It made the job so much easier and gave me a sturdy, professional-looking finished piece.

Great macrame green cord!
I really enjoy to work with this cord. I also love the fact that it has color, which adds tremendously to simple projects and makes them more sophisticated. I also took the bigger spool this time around because it always seems like your macramé cord runs out very soon. So I can say that with the 50 yard spool you can make about 1 1/2 of these simple plant hangers, so if you’re on the fence and planning to do more than just one project – go with the bigger amount. It’s also great that it’s frays so nicely at the end and makes a really great finished product So get quality cord so that your project looks well at the end.
