I used this to wrap loose wires in my vehicles engine bay together as well as in the cab. This was where the plastic-clamshell-type protector from the factory had disintegrated. It's a relatively high heat area and it seems to be holding up fine with no degradation of the adhesive. Time will tell how it handles it long term. However, i have no worries about it lasting in the cab, where it was also used.There is very little stretch in the tape, but even around bends and T's it seems to hide any bunching or wrinkling in the wrap very well. Even if you can't do the best job of wrapping, it really ends up looking nice and professional as long as you overlap enough.I'll buy this again.

Great tape for those hard to solve problems. Good adhesion. just a little tricky to deal with, but works great once you figure out how to apply it.

I'm happy that I was able to bundle the wires together as well as give them a little extra protection from vibrations of the road. I've also used this tape for audio wires in my wife's car. Would recommend to anyone!

If you are doing any wiring mods or repairs on cars or motorcycles this is the stuff you want!

Although the price was good, it was well packaged, and has a durable feeling to the cloth portion, I can’t recommend this. The adhesive is almost non-existent. It will barely stick to itself let alone anything else. Makes it pretty unusable for wrapping a harness.Edit- Upgraded rating - company refunded my money. I can appreciate good customer service and a company that stands behind their product.

This works great for rewrapping fields coils of starter motor. Finished off with varnish and it soaked in and did the job well. Easy to use and very sticky at time of wrapping.

Just finished rewiring my trailer with this stuff, and it made the job so much easier and also looks professionally done. It wraps so easily and conforms to irregular shapes and curves without buckling or exposing the wires. well worth the money, basically one roll did the whole trailer. Very pleased.

This is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Many people complain it's not very sticky, that's precisely the point of this product. I had a burnt wire in our 79 Chevy Van, after unwrapping and chasing the wire I wanted something that wouldn't shrink and get slimy and sticky like electric tape. This looks like a factory wrap and has enough stick to not slide around, but not leave glue residue everywhere. In my opinion it worked perfectly.

The take worked very well on a 50 year old wiring harness that needed repair

I was dubious of it’s adhesion properties when I’d first started the roll, but after looming my entire dash harness, I am thrilled. Way nicer to work with than electrical tape when you’re organizing wiring branches. It sticks to itself incredibly well despite not feeling all that sticky to the touch. Doesn’t leave any gross residue behind if you need to peel it back either.As someone else had mentioned - it is a cloth tape - so I’m not sure I’d love to use it in an engine bay or anywhere that might get dusty. But for automotive interiors it’s absolutely perfect.One roll did virtually an entire dash harness out of an 80’s Japanese car. 5 rolls is plenty, and super handy to have spares around if you’re constantly tinkering. Price is also reasonable.
