Luigi Bormioli Michelangelo Double Old-Fashioned Glasses, 12 Oz - Set of 4

Very attractive glasses. I already had the juice glasses in this style and wanted the mid-size. From the pictures. I was afraid the base would look too thick. It is a bit thick, but still proportionate. They seem perfect for everyday use.

I have the tall glass version as well as this version, and I am extremely happy with both. I don't know if it is this particular line or brand, but my goodness these glasses are so durable. I am still using these today and I bought them when I was in college. They have stood the test of roughness with drunk college boys and girls, as well as the terrible dishwasher I had in college. I may have chipped one or two along the way and had to replace them but that was more my handling than anything. Now that I'm grown up and have a real dishwasher, I haven't ruined any others. I love how durable these are. They are quite heavy, but I attribute that to the good quality glass Bormioli uses. Plus it gives it a "fancy bar feel", which makes it a plus. I've also had many compliment the looks of these glasses, even the silly college boys who claimed they knew nothing about decorating would mention how nice these looks. People often wonder if these are really expensive, in fact they are extremely cheap for what they are. It looks nice in my country kitchen, where I have open shelving for plates and glasses. I think it would look nice in any open shelf bar as well.

We really like these glasses. They are thicker than a lot of less expensive glasses and have a great hand feel. Perfect for everything from having a glass of water to sipping scotch. It’s definitely worth paying a bit more for glasses of superior quality. We bought an extra set of four after our original purchase. Highly recommend.

Great quality. Beautiful look & feel to these glasses, but because of the contrast from thick to thin, in the glass, they tend to break easily. ...afraid to put in to the dishwasher.

Great glasses. Liked them so much I bought a variety of sizes. The heavier bottom prevents them from tipping. And the thin lip is ideal for drinking. Elegant and sturdy glasses.

Bought to fill out a set that I got as a wedding gift in 1998. Love the shape and durability. I have the tall ones, too, and I love them, as well.

My wife had picked up a set of these glasses somewhere, didn't know what brand they were, just that they were made in Italy. I raised her ire by accidently breaking one of her set, and told her I'd purchase another set so she'd have more than enough glasses for her purposes. She was dubious that I could find the same style. The description, measurements, and appearance of these glasses closely matched the one I had broken, so I purchased them and Lo! and Behold! they turned out to be identical to the one I had broken. Wife was surprised and happy that she had even more glasses than before. I thought the price was reasonable, they appeared to be high quality, so all is well, at least with respect to these beverage glasses. I appreciate the level of detail provided in the description which enabled this miracle to occur.

Perfect Scotch glass!

It fits the bill, an everyday working glass for juice or coctails. Delivery was slower than usual.

These feel quality. Lovely to drink from and look smart too. Even better they wash in dishwasher brilliantly. No dimple bottom to collect water, don’t take up much space and wash up like new each time.

Ich verwende diese Gläser nun seit 5 Jahren und sie sind meine absoluten Lieblingsgläser geworden. Für mich ein Universalglas: Wasserglas, Bierglas, Whiskeyglas, was auch immer. Unglaublich schöne Form. Ziemlich schwer aufgrund des sehr starken Bodens. Einmal eines von 1 Meter runtergefallen, nicht gebrochen. Nur ein seitiches Anschlagen am Glasoberrand mit einem harten Gegenstand vertragen sie nicht, da der Glasoberrand doch sehr fein ist. Andererseits aber sehr gut abgerundet, sodass sie sich sehr angenehm beim Trinken anfühlen. Sehr gut Geschirrspüler geeignet, selbst nach Jahren intensiver Verwendung glänzen sie wie neu. Ich habe mir nun einen Lebensvorrat zugelegt, da ich doch gelegentlich eines zerbreche (immer wie oben beschrieben durch Anschlagen am oberen Rand, das ist ihre Schwäche). Eines der wenigen Produkte auf meiner Bestenliste.
