Novaclear RETINOL Rejuvenating Night Serum, I’m loving this retinol night serum, it comes in a little pump container and its light and creamy in texture. It goes on nice and smoothly and leaves the skin feeling silky and soft. It also has a lovely subtle fragrance thanks to the raspberry seed oil. I’ve only been using it for a few days but I’m sure that I can see an improvement in the wrinkles and the skin around my eyes so will continue using it and hopefully will continue to see more benefits. Absorbs well, moisturising and good value for money.

The Novaclear RETINOL Rejuvenating Night Serum comes in a boxed plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. I've added a photo to this review with the ingredients list on the box. The serum needs to be applied at night after cleansing the skin. It's of the same consistency as standard serums and has a very light, pleasant scent. It absorbs nicely into my skin leaving it feeling it hydrated. I follow with a moisturiser as I always moisturise as part of my nightly skincare routine. One thing to note is that the serum contains retinol, an ingredient some people may have a reaction to. The box states that for people new to using retinol, use the serum on alternate nights initially before progressing to nightly use. I've been using retinol products for quite some time without reacting to it, so I just dived in with this and started using it nightly. I've had no issues. As for the anti-ageing claims etc, as with all beauty products, results will vary widely from person to person depending on skin type and condition. So far it's early days with me using this product. I hope to get gradual but noticeable improvements with continued use over time.

I ordered the serum for my husband to use as it has a very very low amount of retinol so is good for a first time retinol user. The serum is a nice consistency and easy to use. It smoothes across my face evenly and absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I didn't notice any fragrance. I was slightly disappointed to see that the bottle is significantly smaller than the box it comes in and I always feel this is a little bit deceitful of the manufacturer. The bottle is plastic and the pump feels quite cheap; this is not a high-end product, but then it doesn't have a high-end price tag so that's fine. At £12.50 it is good value for money. I would definitely recommend this to somebody who is just starting out with retinol.

I was a little cautious at first when applying for the first couple of times as l tend to have a reaction to retinol but this lovely serum has been absolutely fine. It is effective, easy to apply and is quickly absorbed into the skin ready for my night moisturiser. I have had absolutely no reaction or skin irritation which makes me really happy . A little goes a long way making this serum excellent value for money. I recommend doing a skin patch first but for myself l found this very gentle and very rejuvenating. A five star product.

I love this retinol night time facial serum. It’s consistency is creamy but light and absorbs easily into my skin. I use it after cleansing and before applying my nighttime moisturiser. It is easy to use and my skin feels lovely and soft and hydrated after I use it. It is great value too at around £13. Happy with it and well worth that extra skincare step. It's still worth buying. 3 stars: Something that is a bit average and may need some improvements. 2 stars: Item didn't meet my expectations and I might not recommend it. 1 star: Not what I expected or very poor quality and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
