Took me 5 years to finally pull the trigger on a bed
***6 month update Still an awesome bedframe. Still the same solid, uncreakable, unbreakable bed that came in the annoyingly secure box in July 2022. I will ABSOLUTELY purchase another when I buy a home. Affordable, stylish, sturdy, reliable. Money is tight these days and this purchase won't make you feel like an idiot for trusting that something so affordable can actually be a decent item for ownership. I'm a researcher---and I don't like spending money on stuff that is misrepresented, and I'll sure as heck send it back. I travel around a lot because of education and work--so my "bed frame" was a cheap wallyworld metal frame that a nice mattress sat upon. Looked terrible, but there it is. This bed was extraordinarily affordable, which gave me pause. It came in a huge, long cardboard container---and was packed so carefully I was annoyed at how much wrapping I had to undo. So it came in pristine condition. I laid out all of the pieces, which are marked clearly with numbers and letters, all of the hardware is in a packet that has corresponding numbers and letters. EASY PEASY. The pieces all fit together without any further "modification" and I had it together within an hour by myself. All tools included. The finish is very nice. I got the Rustic Pine---and it is NICE. Not too dark, not blonde...just a golden, creamy color much like honey oak but a little more ash. My decor is mission---and this is why I chose this bed. It fits perfectly. I am 5'6" and weigh 145lbs. I have not had a squeak, creak, or wobble. Not one. I have a 110 lb dog that jumps up, so a second "person" is also on the bed. No movement. No cracking or breaking or nonsense like these others are saying. ***first off, please be specific about your weight and activities when you claim the bed "broke and cracked". I can guarantee---you're putting >500lbs onto this bed and then expecting it to act like a steel frame while you do tandem acrobatics. It's nonsensical from what I see in this frame---especially if you're of a healthy weight. If you want to put >500lbs or even close to that on a frame....BUY A STEEL FRAME. There is a nice 8 inch clearance underneath where I have stored several suitcases and some other items. The height of the bed is PERFECT for me--I can imagine it may seem a little low for someone over 6', but otherwise, it's just a nice height. I've had the bed for a month now---and I stand by my initial impression---STURDY (when you're not putting a 2 ton wrecking ball to it) and very pretty. Easy construction and very clear instructions on how to do that. For those that are gonna sit there and measure the distance between slats....seriously. You need to focus that energy on solving world hunger. Really. Seriously. Nobody actually cares. I would buy this again for an additional room if/when I have one. Very nice for the money.

Excellent choice
This bed was so easy to put together, directions were perfect! Good job!!! Everything went together just as directed and love the look of the bed and exactly as described in the description. Love this bed and exactly as expected. Very happy!

Short but great quality!
Good quality full size bed, easy instructions. Took me under an hour to put together. On the shorter side so if you prefer a higher bed may want to look at some risers but we are very happy with the purchase!

Great bed frame!
Iโd say a 5, but one bolt on the footboard leg wouldnโt connect. We decided it wasnโt critical because there are 2 bolts attaching the leg. It seems stable with just one. Aside from that, I was very impressed with the assembly instructions. The graphics alone deserve 5 stars! Really crystal clear. Also they include a little ratchet tool thatโs terrific! I did part of the assembly on my own, then installing the center support and attaching the side rails and footboard was 2 person job. It can all be done in an hour. The bed has a metal stabilizing bar down the center with three legs. And there are two side legs you connect at the mid point on the side rails. All together, this makes a very solid, stable bed frame. I bought the โrustic pineโ color. Itโs kind of light brown with some natural variation. I like it and it fits in well with some teak pieces in the room.

Very impressed with quality and packaging, using with Casper mattress and Casper box spring
Having assembled several "Build it yourself furniture" I was very pleasantly surprise with how cleanly and neatly everything in the box was packaged. As others have said, it is a box within a box, the outer box having marks and signs of wear from shipment, but the inner box was completely clean and perfect. All of the foam protection inside is contained in plastic bags, which is so nice, no little bits of broken Styrofoam going everywhere. And there are only a few zip ties to cut through so you don't spend half your time just un-packing. I was able to assemble the bed by myself in about an hour, but with 2 people could go much faster. I do recommend having two people carry the box, because it is pretty heavy. I was able to carry it up a flight of stairs by myself as a 6'2" male, but, it was a little sketchy at times. Get someone to help you. All the parts were perfect out of the box, none of the wood was warped, or had misaligned holes. Instructions are easy and straight forward, and all the parts are clearly marked with stickers that don't leave a residue when removed. All of the bolts threaded into place and tightened perfectly, and they include washers to use across most of the build which other manufacturers of wood or "like wood" build yourself furniture don't always do, which should help a ton with spreading the load on the joints. They include both an allen key AND a ratchet wrench allen head tool, which is unbelievably nice and easy to use for this. Just being able to use that ratchet wrench for the bolts easily took 30 minutes off the build time, and hand cramp/frustration level. After it was all assembled, our Casper king size box spring and mattress fit perfectly, and felt very very solid and stable. We are using the boxspring, which with the leg height on the bed, makes it a LITTLE higher that I think would be typical, but it isn't an issue for us, and the frame/bed still look great. I Also don't think there would be any issue with not using the Casper box spring, as the horizontal supports are straight and feel sturdy, and are at elast as think as what came with the Casper box spring, and are actually not warped, unlike the Casper slats, where some of them were. I cannot speak to long term durability yet, as we have only had it for a few days, but so far, it doesn't squeak or shift or shake, feels very solid, and neither of us feel the bed move or shake when the other gets in and out of the bed. At a minimum, it is absolutely better quality and build than something comparable from say Big Lots. Just from the quality I see however, I think it should hold up just fine over time. I think this a really good deal, and would recommend it to anyone that I know.

Fun with Furniture, lol
First, many thanks to the reviewers before me. It gave me a good idea of what was awaiting for me. Kudos to the Amazon delivery guy, I have never received a package at 7am! (Normally after 5pm) but I had to go to work so I just brought it inside and unpacked the box. I got home from work and started to assemble in my living room, I figured I would bring it upstairs in parts as I complete them. It really wasnโt too difficult, I had to look at the instructions and figure them out because there were numbers all over the parts. I figured out that even though a piece had โ1โ on it, it wasnโt part 1 but part 1 gets screwed in to that piece. As I went through the assembly, I didnโt tighten everything up, the bolts were mostly tight but I left some slack in everything. Once all the pieces were in place, I did the final tightening of the bolts. In all, in my lackadaisical manner, I was finished in about an hour, hour and 15 minutes. The real challenge for me was the slats, well not really the slats but the Velcro, lol. The first slat gets connected to dowels on the bed and then I pulled a little and then placed the second slat, then the third. Etc. The second set of slats went much easier once I had the hang of it. From your comments: The Tool is Cool! Donโt lose it :-) Itโs pretty much a mini ratchet wrench. It also comes with an allen key but the ratchet wrench makes it so much easier. If you ever lose the took, you can probably just use a ratchet wrench with the correct Allen key. I noticed some people mentioned that they have to tighten up the bolts after a month or so. Iโm only writing this on day 3 so I havenโt had that issue yet. I was tossing around getting some Loctite and applying it when I was in the process of assembling the bed but then I figured I wouldnโt jump the gun, I would wait to see if the bolts do get loose. Coincidentally, I checked the instructions on Locktite and they said to heat your โboltโ up to 135 degrees to loosen a bolt, that may not be an option on the bed. Permatex makes โScrew Glueโ which I will likely go out and purchase if the bolts/screws donโt hold. Another person mentioned the legs may be uneven. Another person mentioned a leg got bent and scratched their new wood floor. I am keeping this in mind. Iโm tossing around a rug to go under the bed or might use felt pads under the legs. I donโt want to discount anyones review so I am just being prepared :-) I really didnโt see any blemishes on the product but know I purchased this based on the price point. Itโs a reasonably inexpensive frame/headboard and Iโm not expecting it to be perfect. What else? I have an air vent by the wall that prevents me from placing the bed directly against the wall. I have it pushed away from the wall about 12 inches, just in case, I placed a squared frame lamp behind it, I will likely look for some 12โ cubbies to fill the rest of the space. Anywhoโฆ Iโm 3 days in, I will update this if anything comes up. I am using this frame along with a Nectar mattress. (Size: Full). Hope my review helps. (Edit #1: Spelling!)

Solid, Comfortable and Simple to Put Together
I ordered a new mattress and got this wooden bed frame with the headboard as well. Iโve been extremely pleased with it. I didnโt realize how noisy and squeaky my old bed was until I got this oneโitโs completely silent. Just be aware that it sits pretty low to the ground, so youโll either need a box spring or be ready for a lower bed height. I actually find it kind of nice, but itโs good to know in advance. Easy to assemble, looks great, and I highly recommend it.

Initial Review - I am impressed
This is my initial review as of April 2022. I plan to update this review in a few months! This was my first time ordering both a bed frame and mattress off Amazon. I was worried about quality and screws being misaligned, etc. The bed frame package arrived on time without any damage. It was quite long and heavy, so getting it in the house and up the stairs would have been extra taxing had I done it myself. I was very surprised how easy it was to put together!! The instructions were very clear, and unlike Ikea and the emotional turmoil they put you through with their instructions, these were very simple and easy to follow. When it was time to put the main frame together, everything was aligned. The slats went on nicely and I like the little sticker part for the mattress! I use a 12-inch hybrid mattress and I do not feel the need for a bunkie board or anything so far. The color is beautiful and it fits great in my lil apartment room. Overall I am extremely pleased. Last note: I was a bit nervous about the โadult activitiesโ mentioned in other comments. Iโll tell you right now that this bed did not make a SOUND. I also am not too worried about it as I will mostly be sleeping in this bed myself. I will def note in future updates if this changes. Also, I took othersโ advice and did not fully tighten the screws until all of the frame was setup. Things I like so far: โข Ease of setup โข Looks beautiful โข Seems sturdy โข Enough space for underbed storage

Sturdy, Beautiful and Cheap would recommend to anyone!
This bed frame was SO easy to put together, took me under an hour to get everything unpacked and put together. The pieces are well labeled, the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces are light but very well made. Some of the features I really liked was the slats that act as the box spring actually velcro to the bed frame so you don't have them moving around or falling through like other beds. This is so smart and defintiley one of the highlights that made me so satisfied with this purchase. On the top of these slats there is two long sticky pads which holds the mattress in place so it doesn't move around either. The bed frame is ridiculously sturdy, I'm talking like not even moving an cm let alone banging against a wall or creaking. I was also really impressed with the quality and colour of the wood. After reading some reviews some said it wasn't true to the picture but I disagree I think it was just what I expected. If you're looking for a wood bedframe wayfair's prices are upwards of 700$ and after comparing nearly every site from jysk, to ikea, to wayfair and overstock this was defintiley the cheapest wood frame for its style. Its lived up to all my expectations and I am so thrilled with it. The only thing I would want someone else to know is that if you have a really thick mattress alot of the headboard will be covered by it.

Fantastic bed!
I have purchased quite a few platform beds and was initially hesitant to order this one online as I like to test their stability before buying. In the same week I purchased a bed from a local store that was 4x this price, and this one off Amazon. This one was BY FAR a better quality bed. Pros: - Handy ratchet tool that makes putting it together a breeze - Velcro system that ensure the bed slats are properly spaced and don't wobble or move, thereby eliminating noise and motion - Very solid legs, high quality screws and fasteners. I'm confident this bed will not start to creak or loosen at the joints anytime soon - I purchased it for my son's room and wasn't too concern with its looks, but I am very pleased with its clean, warm, modern yet inviting look Cons: - The only con is that the frame could stand to be 1/2 inch wider. I purchased a double/full and the mattress bulges out the sides slightly off the frame. It would be nice if it was fully resting on the side rails - There was a lot of styrofoam in the packaging. The bed did arrive in perfect condition, but if like me you are trying to reduce your waste this bed creates a huge amount of garbage (there is no styrofoam recycling where I live)

functional, sturdy, though the packaging was a bit excessive
This arrived in a very damaged box, so we were pleasantly surprised when everything inside was in perfect condition. Really our only complaint was the excessive packaging- it was in two carboard boxes with foam in between all layers (probably a good thing), but the foam was in plastic wrap and there was even additional foam sheeting. This all seemed really wasteful. As for the bed frame, it was quite easy to assemble- took my about an hour alone being very particular. Everything fit together well, no imperfections in the wood, sturdy when done. The mattress lays flat on top of everything. We did a jump test (two people between 130-170 lbs) and it was very sturdy. We added felt pads to the feet. We were happy with the color because we were looking for a pine look and it matched that. One feature I wish it had would be for the frame to have a lip that is above the slats to prevent the mattress moving side to side instead of the sticky strips on a couple of the slats. For a queen bed frame, the headboard could be a bit higher, but it is very functional.

Definitely a great deal
Received one week after ordering via Prime. It came in one very well packaged box. No damages. It even came with a heavy duty ratcheting tool for assembly. It was easy and quick to assemble. It is very sturdy and well made. It provides great underbed clearance for putting storage containers under there. The mattress perches on top of the frame (no lip to set in) but doesn't move even though I didn't use the included stickies. It is very attractive, the very colour of the advertised pictures, and doesn't waste space. I am very happy with my purchase!

Great value, product as described.
We bought this frame in January and added a PolySleep mattress to it. After 16 years together hubby and I have a mattress we agree on. He is a toss-and-turn sleeper (approx 190lbs). I am a back or side sleeper (175 lbs). I am now able to sleep on my side without the same hip and shoulder/neck pain I have experienced through my adult like. The frame holds us both and with this paired mattress is terrific. I set it up in under 45 minutes our 10yr old son. The bottom of the feet tends to slide on our wood floors. There is also a mid-side post to support weight... in our very small room I have stubbed my foot on this mid-post a bunch of times. If you are putting it in a small space consider your personal klutz-factor.
